Would have been a lot fun if the rules weren't so cooky!!! They want you to have a membership to enter but will allow a $10 daily fee.. on top of that they turned us and many other dogs away because you have to be up to date on "specific" vaccines.. there are so many other dog parks and dog beaches and no one has rules like this !!! It's not like we have rabid animals running wild as these are domesticated pets so it makes no sense to me. I don't think anyone's worried about dogs having rabies these days. Also, if they're worried about temperament of dogs, it would make sense if they would have a designated area for smaller dogs instead of one big area for all the dogs!! Baffling! This place has potential, but It's not organized in a way that meets many peoples needs for their pets.

WOW...a hidden brew spot on a side street in a warehouse district. Cool hang out brewery vibe inside with several tables and of course the Jenga game. Been here for three years. Outside is a double open window trailer that serves cold craft brews on tap. Next to the beer truck is a massive grass turf area for your dogs to play freely. $10 per dog or free to enter without a pet. Doggy day care coming soon. Digital pay for personal song choice jukebox, but plenty of songs playing for free. Just a really unique brew location. Free street parking but is tight when busy though. The owners Rob and Russell are two great guys so stop in and say hi. They partner up with dog shelters and themed events. Spotless bathrooms too. Great place 5 stars easy.

We love Barkyard! My Frenchie, Thor, has so much energy. We love to go here so he can run wild, socialize with all the sweet doggos and I can relax, have a beer and let him play.... Lots of seating, and covered seating if rainy....attentive staff, clean facilities...it's the BEST place in Fort Lauderdale to take your dog.

What a great concept. A private well/maintained dog park attached to a little beer and snack situation. I was a guest of a member and didn't have my own dog with me. But his dog loved it, is a frequent visitor and had a blast running around and socializing with the other doggies. I'm a dog lover and I like people pretty much too so this was fun. There's chairs all around the perimeter and the surface is fake grass so it is very well maintained. We each had a beer that was really good and the vibe was hip and chill. Enjoyed it very much. The dogs all need to be registered to enter and there are rules so beware before showing up spontaneously. My friend is a member so he can go as often as he wants. It's a cool place and perfect fit the dog lovers out there.

Highly recommend! If it's your first time, make sure you read their policies and create a profile online ahead of time for an easy check in. I noticed most of the negative reviews were from people who were unaware of their policies. Overall great establishment and my dogs love coming here!

I am dumbfounded by the decision to have a “vegan market” in the park area and be “on leash only” ?♂️. The business model is literally a dog park! On a Sunday as well? We drove from West Palm because my dog loved it here last time. What a poor decision. Lost us as customers. We have BRK in West Palm.

Barkyard has become our favorite place to come to. My mini goldendoodle Princess Leia has a LOT of energy. She has made so many friends here at barkyard. The atmosphere, including dogs, people, and service, are all wonderful. I recommend barkyard to all of my friends with dogs!! Leia is a tired and happy pup every time she leaves.

I can not speak highly enough of Russell, Rob and their staff at Barkyard N Brews. this is exactly what Broward needs, and the only way to make it better is to have more venues. Apollo and I have become more of a regular here than anywhere else and have quickly made some amazing friends. He is constantly making small changes for the dogs so its always a different experience, the drinks are deliciously cold and a fantastic selection and the staff will most certainly make you feel welcomed with the love they give all the dogs as they come through. a great recommendation for any night or a nice neutral location to meet someone, or come be a loner and watch your pup run around and party.Years later update. This place has continuously been a phenomenal venue for relaxing time, parties, events, sports and some good food. A second family if you will.
