Bella Sera Pizza

Went for lunch. This is a small place in a strip mall. The pizza was delicious. We called ahead, and when we arrived it was piping hot. The woman who served us was very friendly. I would highly recommend Bella Sera. I just wish it was in my neighborhood.

BEST Pizza I've had in Ft Lauderdale. I've lived here for 37 years and nothing comes close. The people who own Bella Sera are like family to us. Great food, service and pricing. Nothing fancy, just great food.

We got two pizzas to go. Toppings on pizzas were good and fresh. Pizzas were not soggy but dough wasn’t impressive. But the sauce was almost tasteless, unfortunately, and it was sparse. If they’d kick up flavor in their sauce, as well as add more of it to their pizzas, would be a big improvement. But we’ll never know as we won’t be back. Sorry.

Ordered a pizza for pickup on Uber Eats and once I arrived to pick it up, there’s a sign on the door saying it’s closed through May 5th. Both uber eats and google maps say it’s open.

Food: Pizza is fair with a NYC style flat Sbarro style pie. Not a competitor to Miamis Famous Joes but ok. They offer a lunch special for 5.95 two slices and a drink. Most of the time the pizza has been sitting for hours and is reheated which is typical for lunch but due to the lack of moving food, the pizza ends up charred hard crust and mushy inside.Service: nice staff however we ate it the night prior and brought family in to try it the next day. While we paid for enough pizza for everyone two of us chose to bring Chesapeake bagels while others ate the pizza. We were forced out and had to eat in our car. Not sure if they found it disrespectful but we were solely there for others to try on our treat. Needless to say we won't be back. Best of luck to the owners and staff.Atmosphere: Small quick eats not a restaurant environment but rather quick eats to go.

This is by far the best pizza in South Florida. But further than that, it’s better than most pizza in NY/NJ but at the very least is as good as the best pizza I ever had in NY or NJ, saying this as a lifelong NJ resident. Crust is perfect, sauce is perfect, sauce/cheese is perfect ratio. Don’t miss Bella Sera. All of the rest of their food is also top notch, salads, meatballs, pasta, fries, tenders, etc all really good!

Vegetarian options: Mainly pizza that’s vegetarian.

Kid-friendliness: Great food for the kids!

Over the last 8+ years we have been eating from Bella Sera's amazing menu. This is one of the last true "family owned and operated" businesses. They are beyond accomodating, friendly, and thorough. Having had many things from the menu, it's easy to say everything has always been spot on. From the salds, tuna, sandwiches, to the pizza of course, the food is A+. Thank you guys for braving the covid shut downs and being there for us all these years!!

This pizza is amazing! I’m from NY and have lived in Miami, just recently moving to this area and tried their pizza and it’s delicious. Slices are big. Owners are very friendly and their pizza is fresh and by far best pizza I’ve had in Florida. Clean restaurant too!
