We had reservation. On arrival no hostesses at desk. Waited 3 minutes and I went to look for someone so we can be seated. Seemed to be one of the owners who was in obvious bad mood leading to a poor welcoming start for the dinner experience. At table the candle was not lit and had to ask for a lit one. Not picky but on a $200 plus dollar dinner I do expect to spare careless mistakes that otherwise I could tolerate at TGI Fridays or some place like that.Service was good and attentive all the time.The indoor area which is where we sat is hidden, no windows, no interesting deco, making you feel in a room full of emptiness and isolation.Outside patio appeared much better option.Atmosphere bad. No music or energetic vibe, in fact boring, soundless like in a hotel restaurant in the 1900’s. At 43yo we were the youngest couple in the restaurant at least in the indoor area were we sat. Average age 60’s up so there you have the atmosphere explanation.Food is blunt and not creative. Expect dishes from the 1900’s also.For a restaurant on that category level of expectations I’d recommend many other in the beautiful Fort Lauderdale area and Bistro Mezzaluna is definitely not one of them.Kid-friendliness: Not the place for kids

We have been saying for months that we should try this place and….I thought it was great. To start, we had the burrata salad and lobster bisque, both were so delicious, the chunks of lobster were huge, and the salad was fresh and light. The bread served was soft and flavorful and the butter was regular restaurant butter. For the main event he got the wagyu steak and I had the snapper in a very delicious sauce topped with crap meat…SO GOOD, better than the steak and cheaper too. The scallion mash was creamy and tasty, and asparagus was not cooked enough for me. We had the most experienced and witty waiter, he was amazing, and talked us into the most delicious dessert. We have the tiramisu with coffee gelato, absolute heaven, light, rich (but not too).

We love it so much here this is our go to for family celebrations? We just recently celebrated my father‘s 90th birthday! Food is amazing, staff is wonderful, restaurant is extremely accommodating!

I never write reviews, but the arrogance and worst hospitality of the stuff made me sad today. The restaurant was booked a few days before the event. We arrived on time, was put at the table and wasn't served till we complained after 40 minutes. All the stuff ignored us cause I had black friend sitting at the table, while serving all other tables. Specifically ignoring any attempt to order anything and not even being served a food menu. I was really looking forward to eat at the place, but I am glad that we didn't. I don't want to support racists and to pay unreasonable prices for dishes you can only see on the website pictures if you end up to look anyway different than cosmopolitan 2000. I would recommend this place to visit if you ever need the meanest look, feel disgusted and humiliated and never even have a chance to eat.

Went for Valentines Day. We booked on open table and didn't have a wait when we arrived. Stone Crabs as appetizers were delicious. We shared an entree and it was enough food. The cannolis were fabulous!! Two large ones with drizzled chocolate syrup. As we were exiting there was really nice music playing in the Bar. Wish we could have heard it in the dining room where we sat at ( the less formal room). There should be background music in the dining rooms. Just a thought.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Fantastic selection of fine wines from around the world. Food is to die for, perfectly cooked and presented. The pianist in the bar is a great touch and works well for that size room. Not too loud, my party could have a conversation without the need to shout. The dinning room was quiet and reserved. Very knowledgeable staff and prompt service. I can not fault this place.

Dinner was served very slowly, had to wait long time. It's like they wanted us to drink more wine. We kept telling them not to pour more until our food arrived. Second time we have the same waiter and all agreed he did not warm up to us. The host was very kind, we did not complain but we should have brought it to his attention cause it's the second time. We would like this to be our favorite restaurant but so far we are undecided and can't recommend it until we go again ( not sure) and waiter and service and food is all served timely as it should be. The food was delicious. The salad was sloppily arranged this time but it was good.
