Again another unpleasant time there service was not great food was good they need to pay attention to what really goes on there n quit making up lies hout what is going on there. I try to go there to eat and have nice time and invite others for drinks but I'm not going to waste my time their when the servers start making up stories bout me it's rude and I do not have to deal with it. Hope you make Iit thru season tho because it is really hard to run business in fl properly I know I owned hair salons. Suzy BEACH BABIES HAIR SALONS FORTLAUDERDALE BEACH Florida GOOD LUCK. BYE

Had the best Happy Hour experience today with J.P. as our bartender/host. Highly recommend the 700 degree stone and happy hour pricing on the wine. J.P.’s recommendation on wine pairing was excellent, throughly enjoyed our afternoon.

Mark the server is the only good thing about this restaurant. He was fantastic and he got a 25% tip from my party despite a literal giant spider descending onto our table from the very very high ceiling. The tuna steak was superb, but all dishes containing cheese were too greasy. (Spinach dip, and French onion soup). I would only ever go back for a drink, and of course to visit the ever clever Mark.

Our experience is always Top Notch. There isn’t a Black Rock in Memphis Tennessee. Therefore we fly to Miami every 2-3 months for dinner

I have consistently visited this establishment for the lobster dip and the exceptional service. Vera's presence was particularly noteworthy on the most recent visit. Her smile, cordial service, and meticulous attention to detail were outstanding. I will persist in returning due to the quality of the food and service.

Black Rock Bar & Grill located on Federal Highway just north of Bayview has a very welcoming exterior which may give the impression of a fine dining experience to be found inside. Yet, one will discover the interior exist of a large space with a center bar area surrounded by high top seating and further away booths. Many of the walls showcase televisions. This was our first visit and we were expecting the atmosphere of a good mid-range steak house. So upon entering we were surprised by the restaurant's design.

We were immediately taken to our booth -- we would not have wanted the high top tables and booths. While the seating was comfortable the booth seats were clearly worn. Throughout the evening the staff both serves your dishes from a unitarian cart while other staff walk around with similar carts collecting used dishes, flatware etc. The service style was a surprise but mostly because the carts look like thing belong in the kitchen or storeroom. One uniqueness of Black Rock is the serving of steaks and some fish on a hot sizzling rock so you may control your final cooking of your order. Therefore, I understand why the carts are so important so that servers do not get burned delivering or even clearing these platters.

Our service was excellent from the start. Our server was helpful in explaining the restaurant's concept and menu items. He regularly checked in with us throughout the meal.

Truly the food was overall excellent. The onion soup was one of the best I have had in the area. The spinach dip was rather creamy but good along with excellent pita pieces. The chopped salad was great and a big portion. I had the Taste of BR (Black Rock) which consisted of a filet mignon and a sirloin. The filet was fantastic but the sirloin was extremely difficult to cut and very very chewy. I was told the Tuna was excellent and the self searing was nice to do.

All and all the food is very good, the service is excellent, and ignoring the unexpected atmosphere the evening meal was great. We will absolutely give Black Rock Bar & Grill a return visit.

This place is absolutely delicious. They offer the very best happy hour in town and it is available 7 days a week. Monday-Friday it is unit 6 and on Saturday and Sunday until 3:00 p.m. There are not only great drink specials but there are so many food options. They even offer steak and lobster on the happy hour menu for $24 :) Vera and staff are so friendly and they always provide excellent customer service!

Came in on a Saturday night. Started sparse but began to fill through the evening. Had the soup flight. Wife had ribs and coconut shrimp. I had the Grand Tour. Filled me up perfectly. Ended with the Apple Cobbler which had to be a quarter of a baking dish with vanilla ice cream. Enjoyed our meal. Check menu online before you come. We were just over $100 before tip. Eren did a great job taking care of us.
