Happy hour 4-6:30 Monday-Friday! I went for happy hour with some friends and we were able to sit right on the dock. Being next to the water with umbrellas for shade made for the perfect ambience. The service was quick and friendly. Drinks are half off during happy hour and they have a happy hour menu for food too. There is valet parking out front or you can self park for a fee with pay by phone parking. Without the happy hour this place can be pricey but overall would recommend for a happy hour spot!

Whenever I have friends or family visiting, I take them to the Boathouse. They are conveniently located behind the Riverside Hotel and have a great weekday happy hour along with amazing views of the water. The food is also very good and the waiters are very attentive, even when it is busy! I usually come for the happy hour and get appetizers to start while I wait for the sunset.

Service and location are both great. Problem is the food. Nothing we got was good, it was all fine, but I could close my eyes and stumble on a better meal anywhere nearby. For reference we got the Brussels sprouts, they were burnt. The fritters were fine but not very good. My wife had the scallop risotto and again it was fine but scallops were small and flavors were strange. I got the steak and it was waaay too sweet even for a "Hawaiian Ribeye" - cooked perfectly though. In short, you're better off going anywhere else. I wish the place could get a total makeover because the location is A+.

We got a gift card for this restaurant and so off we went. There is public parking nearby at about $3 an hour. I was told that I needed reservations or the wait could average 45 minutes. But when we got there for our 7 p.m. reservation on a Monday evening I waited while they seated two couples who did not have reservations. The best thing about his place is the waterfront dining. Although we made reservations for the dining room (and not the dock), there is no inside dining. All dining is outside. Albeit the dining room has a covered roof with the sides open (there were awnings that could be drawn down if it rained or if the sun were really hot). There is dock seating with no roof. On a cool evening the view was pleasant and the breeze was welcomed. I shudder to think what it would be like on a hot day, but they had lots of ceiling fans and what looked like other special fans to cool off the area. While the server, Traci, was pleasant. There was very little interaction or conversation between her and us. She took our order, picked up plates, brought the necessary items, refilled the water, and brought our check. The best thing we ate was the coconut lime snapper ceviche. The sauce was delicious and even after finishing the fish (which could have been cut into thinner slices instead of chunks, so they could absorb the ceviche sauce more), we poured the sauce onto our chips so we could eat it all. The Key West conch fritters were bready and had a spice I could not pinpoint that gave it an unusual (not good) taste. We had the mahi fish sandwich and the mahi tacos. Everything seemed to be accompanied by pickled onions and a pico de gallo/cilantro sauce. The homemade potato chips that came with the sandwich were OK. But we ordered a side of fries (only $3) that were crisp and delicious and a much better side dish. They had a special banana bread-bread pudding that we shared. It was a small portion for $14 and way too sweet for me. Dinner for two with two appetizers, two small entrees, and one dessert with tax and tip was $106. Our $50 gift card covered a large portion.

We sat on the dock right next to the river. It was very lovely. We especially enjoyed the iguana(?) Family that kept us company. The crab cake was absolutely delicious! As was the guacamole and chips. The staff was also wonderful.

The view of ships passing by makes this place a must for those who those who are into the nautical scene. You can sit literally a dozen feet away from a passing ship. The wait for service and food are the only issues I have.

Thank you to Terrance for arranging our reservations for after the theater. We had a wonderful table for six with a water view. Our server was great from our waters to our coffee. Six different meals all arrived at the same time exactly as ordered. Everyone at the table raved about the food, the view and the service. Thank you again for making our night wonderful!

I thoroughly enjoy dining at this restaurant located alongside the New River in Fort Lauderdale. Sitting on the dock, watching boats pass by, adds to the charm. First, I savor my cocktail, and then I indulge in the particularly delicious appetizers.Today; my spouse, my son, my daughter-in-law and my grandson joined me for another visit. Once again, we sat on the dock right by the water. However, I must emphasize that making a reservation a few days in advance is essential; otherwise, securing a table can be quite challenging.Happy hour drink specials are available every day between 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, and except for weekends, there are happy hour food options on weekdays. You can also visit for Sunday brunch from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, although we usually come here exclusively for dinner. As always, we ordered a variety of starters to share. The Guacamole, Spicy Sautéed Shrimp, Crab Cake, Loaded Potato Dipper and Pepperoni Flatbread were especially delightful. However, I found the Steamed Mussels somewhat mediocre and not to my taste. Previously, there used to be a delicious octopus dish with a special sauce and potatoes, but unfortunately, it was absent from the current menu. When I inquired, I was informed that the chef had changed, and the dish was no longer offered. It truly was a starter worth trying, and perhaps they’ll reintroduce it after some time.Even if you’re not in Fort Lauderdale, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re in the nearby cities. Especially if you appreciate waterfront views and enjoy watching different boats and yachts pass by while dining, it offers a truly unique and elegant waterfront dining experience. Boaters can also dock their boats here for a meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicapped parking lots are available just in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are a lot of paid parking lots next to the restaurant.

Ambiance was nice with the river ?, but they never brought my food out ( think my waiter may have forgotten to put the order in). Even when the manager (Diana- who was kind of rude to the staff also ) came by my table and asked if everything was ok, I informed her my whole table already finished their food she was very dismissive and offered no apology. Would not come back..Instead of addressing the issue, you write back and ask me to remove my honest review? You all write and say there is no one there by that name (Diana). That means my waiter delberatly LIED to me when I asked what the managers name was, as he said her name was Diana. So you all hire liars??? The manager was a woman with grey hair who worked Saturday morning 4/6/24. Look at your schedule, as I am sure you know who I am referring to... You should have kept that response to yourself.
