Bar is a great place for a cold drink. Bartender was attentive and had an upbeat personality.

It's pretty weird being here during the day, usually when in downtown nightlife I would always end up here for a drink or two . Anyway, I came here with my husband and son in tow looking for lunch. It was Saturday around 2ish so all that was available was the brunch menu. The brunch menu is limited but has a scrumptious selection. For starters we went with the crispy Brussel sprouts. Perfectly roasted and a good portion ( in true fat American fashion I like big portions even if I can't finish it lol), not a sprout of brussel was left :) For mains we had the cure sandwich and the public house. Again, huge portions and great taste as well. I am honestly surprised they have such bad reviews because the meals we had did not reflect this. First time coming here and didn't realize they have such tasty dishes. Don't overlook the food peeps.. they have much more to offer than adult beverages

I wish I could give zero stars. Disgusting place. Someone puked on my foot. I feel like I'm in a college bar. Avoid at all costs

Great location and all. BUT the DJ sucks. He is playin songs from his sweet-sixteen bday all the time. No rhythm to dance just old school songs no one knows. Or stuff that everybody likes but cannot dance to. ***Change the "DJ" please. Otherwise had a blast here and will be coming back.

Pros: This was my first time eating here and it was DELICIOUS! We shared the Brussels sprouts and I had the PH salad with grilled shrimp. The salad was large and very filling. I also had their cool cucumber gin cocktail, it was fantastic! My buddies like their food as well. Cons: Service was slow, but the waitress was in training, so we'll let it slide. Will definitely return!

We visited the location to grab a quick bite before going to the beach. This place is located right next to the yellow garage building on a corner. Waited about 1 minute to be seated and asked to be seated outside. Do not recommend the outside seating as there's a very bad odor I believe coming from close by sewer in the street it would come and go but nonetheless I convenient. Reason for the 3 star is the wait time before a server assisted us, we waited about 10 minutes and no one approached us. Specially Frustrated because we had a time crunch as we wanted to get a tan. Finally a server came named TJ, who was delightful, fast and very empathetic. We ordered: 10 am burger, Motown Philly cheesesteak dip, brunch flatbread, toast with crab meat Burger: very good, lovely juicy flavor and comes with fries to die for. Definitely recommend it. 5 star plate Dip: if you like philly cheese steak, you're gonna love it! If you don't, it might be considered a bit greasy. 3 star plate Brunch flatbread: extremely good and unique, I would only add to have the egg a bit more cooked as I don't like soft eggs this plate gets 4 stars Toast: mmmmm, not my favorite I love crab but this lacked flavor, even a sauce could've done it but it wasn't my favorite this plate gets 2 stars I accompanied my meal with Funkhy Buddha Floridian, perfect match The ambience inside is with music but not loud so is good for conversation.

Came for happy hour on a Thursday.. semi busy and atmosphere great! Ordered a glass of wine (good) and a vodka drink with muddled berries. ( no tase whatsoever, could have been water if my eyes were closed) Flat bread totally ok and Brussels sprouts were very tasty! BUT the major fail... the "Jumbo chicken wings" They were the smallest wings I think I have ever seen in my life. The size of my thumb and I have normal size woman hands.... hahah.... a joke! I should have taken a picture and we found it hilarious but yet quite annoying. Good taste but to sell miniature dwarf wings as jumbo wings is a joke! Probably won't go back...‍

Brunch is always a great time here! I come here more for the ambiance and the mimosas than the actual food. The mimosas are bound to have you having a good time after a couple! The music and being in downtown Fort Lauderdale is just all around a great time cause you can go from one place to the next. They have this cool camera by the bathrooms where you can make little video pictures and send them to yourself, although I never got the last ones I sent to myself a couple months ago lol. But if you're trying to have a good time with friends, brunch here is exactly what you need.

When the food is amazing and your kids can't stop dancing! Great BLT, Briskett Benedict and S'more French Toast... TJ was a great, attentive server! Will be back for sure!!

Public House recently revamped their menu and I couldn't be happier about it. I love this spot. Huge bar, casual but delicious fare, and plenty of giant TVs to watch your favorite game. What else could a girl ask for? Tonight we stopped in for dinner. We started off with a cheezy steak dip served with "flat fries". This is literally a bowl of gooey melted cheese mixed with steak, mushrooms and peppers. And the fries are exactly as they sound, flat, crisp, salty and delicious. Great start to the meal. From there we shared a PH salad add chicken. This was mixed greens, tomatoes, goat cheese, peppers, plenty of avocado, and crispy sunflower seeds. This was healthy but so good! You can definitely come here and be healthy if that's your thing. Order this! For our main entree we shared the tenderloin. Served atop a bed of bok choy, asparagus, green beans and a mountain of mashed potatoes. The steak is sliced thin with amazing chimichurri. The perfect blend of spicy and sweet. I would definitely order this again! Wow! Thanks public house we can't wait to come back!

PSA: NEW CHEF, NEW MENU! When you think of Public House, you think of drinking downtown on a Friday and Saturday night. It shouldn't be that way anymore. It's now a great place to grab lunch, dinner, and even brunch on the weekends. I went last night (a Thursday) around 8 PM to finally try their dinner dinner and I was surprisingly very pleased. I've heard mixed reviews in the past so I never gave it a try. But I'm glad once I heard there was a new menu I dropped those opinions to try it myself. First of all, the staff couldn't have been nicer and we were greeted with a warm welcome from the second we walked in the door. I also got to meet Chef Rich who was awesome. We started with the Himmarshee Hottie - honestly one of the best tequila drinks I've ever had. It's infused with jalapeí±os so if you're a spicy lover you need to try this drink! We then got the Cap'n Crunch Chicken Tenders and the Motown Philly Dip. The tenders were great quality meat, extra crispy, and weren't too sweet (which I thought they would be with the cap'n crunch). And the Motown Philly is essentially a Philly cheesesteak turned into a dip - served with thin cut fries made in house. YUM We then got the Rich burger and the Beef Tenderloin. Both were cooked exactly how we asked for (which was medium) and came with a lot of flavor. The burger was served with crinkle fries and we swore the seasoning tasted just like VooDoo fries!! My fav. For dessert (YES, we're still eating lol) we got the Craic Pie - omg. Gooey inside filling with an oat crunchy crust and a huge dollop of fresh whip cream on top. It was amazing. We watched the Heat play last night on the huge screen next to our table. So next time you're looking for a place to watch a game come here to try the new items while you're at it :)

Went here before a show and hit happy hour. Our party decided to have the small plate appetizer menu. Started out with stone cellars pinoir noir which was fair. My wife had a pearsecco cocktail which earned a thumbs up. We ordered and shared the jumbo wings.(good not great), the tiny shepherd pies( not to my recollection of this), the margarita flatbread (tasty), the artisanal sausage ( pretty good if on the bland side and finished it off with their bread pudding. All in all an average meal with 2 caveats- close to the theatre and the server Isaiah was excellent.
