Broward Catering

We had the pleasure of using Broward Catering as our food vendor for our May wedding last year at Crystal Ballroom on Lake Melva. Elvis was super cool and accommodating. We got to experience his own wedding venue for the day of the tasting and quite frankly I regret not being able to book my wedding there initially but we had booked our venue way before he even had it open. Needless to say we chose a lemon piccata and sweet chili glazed salmon as our entree paired with garlic mash and vegetable medley. Everyone was satisfied and we also used his services for our walk around apps for cocktail hour. My guests til this day talk about the meatballs. Although communication wasn’t there always due to his high demand, he was the least stressful part of my wedding planning and in the end myself, my husband and the entire wedding was truly enjoying the food! And we had so much of it too! The quality was there! Thank you so much!

Excellent service, all the staff are very professional and very friendly. The food is excellent, we did my son's wedding and we used the catering services, the buffet food was super tasty and hot when it was served.

I just had my wedding there in December & it was perfect!! From start to finish Elvis & Suzana were so helpful & understanding. They made sure our day was perfect & the best part was the food. My goodness the food was soooooo good everyone is still talking about it until this day. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this venue to everyone

We recently had my sister’s sweet 16 and decided to use them to cater our food. Initially, we went to a food tasting and tried the different cuisines they offered and it was amazing. It was so hard to decide if we wanted Haitian, Jamaican, or Latin food because it was all great. We went with Haitian and Jamaican! The salmon, rice and macaroni was so amazing my family and friends kept calling after the party to find out how they can get more. This was hands down the best choice for us. 10/10 recommend.

Elvis I thank you for everythingggggggg. My guests were ravinggggggg about the food & let me tell you finding someone to do a classy plated dinner with our authentic cuisine (Jamaican & Dominican) is not easy. Elvis even added an extra side for us because we wanted it. He made us a special bride and groom plate because we wanted it. We got him out of retirement to emcee too, because there’s no one else I trusted but him. Truly a top tier experience he went above & beyond for us every step of the way & I can’t thank you enough. Guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had in their life. Thank you Elvis & Suzanna for a true top tier experience I will have you guys in my heart FOREVER!

Our wedding was Sunday, 10-06. We had family and friends flying in, all ethnicities that you could think of. This was going to be a dance celebration with a lot of drinks so I wanted the food to taste great and be filling! But it was better than I could have expected. People are still talking about the great flavor of our food! It was so good that the buffet had to shut down because most people were already on their 3rd plates with no intention to stop!? For that reason, we were fortunate to have a little left over for another family dinner the very next day and even when sober, the flavor was even more incredible! For dinner we had, Jamaican Rice and Peas, Haitian Mac Au Gratin, Chicken Creole, and Sweet Glazed Salmon. My husband and I are not Haitian or Jamaican but we love what would hit the spot!! On top of that, Broward Catering also gave me and my husband a side of Filet Mignon and Churrasco. Caitlin was helpful and Suzana was beyond helpful and gave me great pointers, as this was my first time catering to 142 ppl. I couldn’t thank Broward Catering enough and wish them the best with their new ownership of Lavan Venue. Totally was worth it!

Broward Catering meals are fresh, fulfilling yet light, and seasoned to perfection! Elvis, the owner who also coordinated my mother Trudy Levros amazing Celebration of Life event, meticulously went through the menu with me. As he asked questions about my mother and our background he quickly learned we are Haitian-Bahamian. He recommended the Haitian-Caribbean menu to me. Just as I requested for her event, Broward Catering provided five-star plates 3-course meal. Sometimes fancy Caribbean food misses the mark, but Broward Catering’s chefs are spot on the money; everything perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had Haitian mommies and daddies at the event and they were chowing down on seconds! I don’t have the professional photos yet from the photographer. I think about the party every day and keep getting calls from the family saying how amazing the party was. Can’t thank Elvis and Broward Catering enough??. They also provide servers who are extremely professional and swift. It’s everything I know my mother could ever ask for?????

Where is the TEN STAR option when you need it? If you're looking for a catering company for your special event, please don't waste your time and look any further. This group of AMAZING people are the real deal! The food was perfect, the service was perfect and the support/administration team were all beyond helpful, making my event that much more pleasant. I think the food part of any event is the most stressful, but having Broward Catering on my side, I had NONE. I am beyond thankful I chose them and will ALWAYS use and recommend them going forward. I added the service of the attendants and bartender. WORTH EVERY CENT! I would do it all over again without hesitation. Anyways, do yourself the favor and just book them. THANK YOU BROWARD CATERING!! :)

Elvis and his crew are phenomenal! They went above and beyond at our event. The staff is very helpful and professional. They work fast and clean. I would definitely recommend them and use their services in the future.
