I’m visiting Fort Lauderdale with my family for a few nights and Cafe Del Mar has been our favorite restaurant so far. With the amazing beach view from the outdoor seating and very delicious food and drinks. Stefan who was our waiter in the morning was amazing and very helpful and Philip who was our waiter at night was also very helpful and very patient during our visit. I’d give this restaurant 6 stars if that was an option

The food was dry. I had lobster ravioli and the ravioli was dry like it hadn't been cooked long enough. The sauce made up for it. I don't like to send food back. My friend had fish that was too dry and another had pizza that was over cooked. The best tasting was the crab cakes. The server was excellent!

We had a great dinner at Cafe Del Mar with Anthony as our server! We had a group of 6+ and Anthony handled us with a friendly and professional manner. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Def would recommend!

Don't be fooled by the bait and switch. Sign in from advertises 20% off bill. But when you sit down, they offer you BOGO cocktails. Be prepared for that cocktail to be $38! And when you get the check...no 20% off anything because they say you can't have the BOGO drink and the 20%. So, you feel ripped off x2. Food was fine. Not great and not bad. Still left with a bad taste after I got the bill.

Food here is not good. Ordered the avocado toast and the bread even toasted. We didn’t eat it and they still charged full price. Most things tasted super old and not made well.

I wish we had never gone to this restaurant. They serve the worst cheapest caesar salad I ever had in florida and the price was not cheap. The place was very dirty and most of the servers had a bad attitude. Our server was very respectful, but going to the bathroom another server was very rude to me. The most disappointing thing was the food though. Not worth it.

Be aware of the happy hour special. $38 for two large margaritas!!! Not a special. It presented as buy one and get one free! Deceiving. Food is over priced.
Beautiful view of the ocean with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was great at the table, but the host didn’t answer my questions about the menu before we were seated. It’s quite expensive to eat here. Everything seemed to be individually sold. I ordered the waffle and added chicken tenders because I didn’t think a bowl of fruit was worth $9. The waffle was very dense and flavorless. It tasted more like a thick bread than a waffle. The tenders were fine. They don’t have ranch if you like that as a side sauce. The tea was really rich. I added some sugar and water and it was fine. The bill comes out with a service fee and a service charge. One of them said 18% so I assume it was a gratuity fee? We left $4 on top of that but for two people to have breakfast and 1 non alcoholic drink, that was too much. Paid $65 for a breakfast I value at $25-$30 tops.

⭐ I’m giving one star solely because of the manager’s unacceptable behavior. A special was advertised, but when the food arrived, part of it was missing. The waiter made a genuine effort to resolve the issue, which I appreciated. However, when I specifically requested to speak with the manager, they refused to come out or acknowledge the problem. That level of disregard is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing role.
