I ordered a coffee and a piece of coffee cake. The server, Esther asked if I wanted it warmed up. I assumed it was at room temperature so I said “no thanks”. When i took a bite I knew it came from the refrigerator so I kindly asked to please heat it for me. To my surprise Esther said with a smile, it the policy of the cafe is not to take back any item but they would provide me with a new piece of cake and to keep the “cold” one. I never had a cafe or restaurant treat me...
