Carlos & Pepe’s is the best Mexican in Fort Lauderdale hands down. Great drinks, food, and service. My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and the waitress added the most thoughtful touches to our table by cutting out a paper heart and laying it on the table with candles. It was such a nice date spot, especially sitting in the outdoor area. When you go, I highly recommend the fajitas- some of the best I’ve ever had! I easily give this place a 10/10!

I recently dined at Carlos and Pepe’s and had the pleasure of being served by Josh. His customer service was outstanding. Josh went above and beyond by genuinely asking for our feedback on the food and showing that he truly cares about what customers have to say. While the food was decent and could use some improvement, Josh's exceptional service is the reason I would return. Thank you, Josh, for making our dining experience memorable!

We had an awesome experience with server Josh. He is definitely on it. Super friendly and very kind. I'm from Texas so normally like my food spicier, that is the only reason I gave 3 stars on food

Carlos & Pepe
I recently visited Carlos & Pepe for their Taco Tuesday special, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The tacos were absolutely delicious, with a perfect blend of flavors and fresh ingredients. Each taco was bursting with taste, and the variety available made it hard to choose just one favorite.
What made the experience even more enjoyable was the exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. Our server; Jeremy; was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. They ensured our drinks were always filled and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
The lively atmosphere added to the overall fun dining experience. Carlos & Pepe’s Taco Tuesday is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy delicious tacos and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Feel free to adjust any part of this to better match your personal experience!

Friendly atmosphere, smiling staff.
Tammy was our excellent waitress. We ordered fish tacos and a shredded beef chimichanga. We did not leave hungry! Lots of fish in the tacos and tasty beef in the chimichanga.
Thank you

First time and it was delish! The couple we went with told us about the history of the establishment and how’s it’s evolved by way of renovation and esthetic.
My hubby had chilies rellenos - which he ate in record time and slept like a baby lol.
I had cheese enchiladas. My barometer of a good Mexican place is their cheese enchiladas- it was really good!
Our friends ordered the these super nachos which they shared. It was huge and looked amazing !!

We had high hopes, but everything fell flat. When we pulled up on Father's Day, parking lot was empty. Should have been the first sign. AC wasn't working, which was not ideal, but we were committed. Salsa had no flavor. Fajitas very bland and had tomatoes mixed with onions and peppers. My son liked his burtito. Waitress kept pushing drinks. Used to go often back in the day. Sadly, won't be returning. So many better options in the area.

We have given new ownership three visits. I feel like I wasted $400.00+. The food is edible (barely). The salsa is from a big container. The original owner took the recipe with him; I think he sold it to LaBamba. I decided after three attempts, I was done, and I never planned to leave a review. Then I saw the new owner claim it was the original salsa recipe! I had to post, as I have been a customer for thirty years. They changed everything food-wise. I wouldn’t eat the salsa because Publix sells better in the produce section. The place is dying and that’s the truth. Do the new owners think we don’t notice the salsa is different? ADIOS C & P
