Place is the best, authentic, delicious food. It’s a must have whenever i fly into Fort Lauderdale airport!! Get the shredded beef bowl with the brown rice and plantains you won’t regret it.

I was here when my flight got delayed. Sat at the bar with Brandon and he was amazing and hilarious. Definitely made my delay a lot more entertaining. Food was awesome too!

Bought Spinach empanadas at Fll airport and they were oily and raw. Horrible stomach ache snd acidity after eating. Do not order empanadas as you will fall sick.

Five-Star Delight at Casavana, FLL!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Casavana while waiting for my flight at Fort Lauderdale International Airport, and I must say — it was the highlight of my airport experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly captured the heart of Cuban cuisine, but what made it exceptional was the service.

The Cuban coffee is excellent!

Janice, my server, was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I sat down, she greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and treated us with a level of care and attentiveness that’s rare to find — especially in a busy airport setting. She was incredibly friendly, fast without being rushed, and made excellent recommendations that hit the spot.

Her charm, positive energy, and professionalism elevated the whole meal. It felt like we were being served by a close friend who wanted us to have the best possible experience. I can’t say enough good things about her — Janice is a gem!

If you’re traveling through FLL, do yourself a favor and stop by Casavana. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Janice, you’re in for an amazing treat!

Decent. All alcohol drinks are $15 with an 18% gratuity automatically added. Can take drinks to go

One of my favorite places to stop every time I fly through this airport. I can’t speak for the restaurant itself, but from their “hot on the go” menu, their Chicken/Beef empanadas and their guava and queso pastelitos always hit the spot.

The food was not of decent quility, the service was absent, and the atmosphere was vacant.
I wish I had read the rating and reviews before I went in as it could have at least prepared me. We didn't have the worst time, just not a good time.
The wait at the door took a minute, not their fault. It's an airport, and no one has anywhere to go.
Once we got to the table, I think we had Barry as a server, or I will call him Barry. Barry paces himself, never rushing or overtasking himself. Barry will walk by, avoiding eye contact while refraining from acknowledgment. It took quite a long time to get approached by Barry, noticing that everyone was in a state of some sort of wait around me should have been a sign.
I will shorten this review for the sake of your time if you are reading.
Everyone hustled, but Barry. The supervisor who was hosting was excellent. The food was not worth the price or time. I wish I had my time and choice back.
Pick the other place.

I ordered the quesadilla here which was very good. My server, Maritza, was amazing! The restaurant began to get very busy, I don’t know how she handled so many guests but I was very impressed. Great customer service!
