Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

This place needs to b shut down immediately! My brother is visiting from NY. My family and I came to Cheddars yesterday evening for dinner. We arrived around 6 pm and the place was a bit empty. We were a party of five. Four adults and one child. We waited for about 5-10 minutes prior to be seated. Our server Natalie was nice and began to take or order. We started with drinks and appetizers until our food came out. After our entrees arrived, 15 minutes into eating our food a roach came from the booth wall onto our table. We immediately jumped up and moved our food and items to the table that was adjacent to the booth that we were in. As we all scattered to the next table, some of our food items dropped to the floor. Our waiter Natalie saw the commotion and ran across to see what was wrong. We told her that a roach came onto our table. Luckily for us, she saw the roach still lingering about. She immediately began to apologize. My daughter was so grossed out that she refused to continue eating. Fortunately for us, the roach didn’t make its way into our food. As we sat down in an attempt to finish our dinner, the waiter came over and apologized again then proceeded to hand us our check. We paid for our dinner, and as we were exiting my wife had to use the restroom. As we were waiting for her return, the manager saw us waiting and began to ask us, “Was everything Ok?” We told him No! He asked what happened and we began to tell him what had occurred and encouraged him to get an exterminator. He nonchalantly apologized, proceeded to walk away, and he didn’t offer to accommodate us in any way. Needless to say, we will NEVER RETURN AGAIN!!!! Its disappointing because Cheddars has always been one of our restaurants of choice. The food tastes good and the prices are great. However, this is unacceptable! The health department needs to come in and close down this place until they can rectify their insect issues and provide a clean establishment that their patrons can comfortably enjoy.

I wanted to give them at least three stars, but it took forever for my cheeseburger to come out....and when it did I could tell it had been under a heating lamp for a while. Plus they served it without any condiments...mayo or mustard....thank god I had ketchup on the table already! Which was good, because the burger was a bit dry...as were the lettuce, tomato and pickles, which were on the side of the burger-they must have cooked under the light.It wasn't all bad though, the potato soup i ordered was pretty darn good....and the booth I sat in was softish...which was very good, because after waiting like 25 minutes for the bill I gave up and wobbled up to the front to pay. At that point my back and neck were yelling at me to goooooo!Be safe all.

Our first time here and we where not disappointed at all! Our server RENEE M. Was very attentive, and our order came on time and how we order it excellent customer service! We loved it! The croissant with the honey sweet butter where amazing!! Also the cheese bites omg delicious! Definitely recommended it! We will be back !!!! Thanks and keep the good work everyone!!!

This place is ok. The waitress was doing her best to help us but it seems she was struggling. Our table was never cleared after finishing with the complimentary bread or our appetizers so that sat on our table for the entire time we were there, the food was decent at best. The pain killer was good...but I can't say that I would be rushing back to eat here. Not for me but it could be for those that are looking for a Denny's menu.

Great sandwiches at lunch time. Try Monty Crisco, or delicious salad.And try there wonderful croissants dripping in honey.We were there around 11:45 and the service was not good. But we've had a good experience those other times

I went twice here within a week, the first time alone, and the second time with my wife, Andrea; and my two pet (service animal) rabbits. Both times were excellent, with Anthony being my server the first time, and Justin (in photos) being our server the second time. The food is excellent, and well priced; and the staff and management are friendly. I will definitely be back again. A top rating of two rabbit ears up!! (\ (\ ( -.-) o_(“)(“)

Terrible! The pasta was under cooked and the shrimp were cold and the vegetables were soggy. Our salad bowls were never removed from the table when our dinner came. We waited 20 mins. after we were done before we finally flagged down our waitress and asked for our check. 10 more minutes before we found a bus person who gladly took our check and payment. Not a good experience at all. We won't be back.

This was my first time at Cheddars. Seating for a party of 20 was fairly quick. Orders were taken quickly, and drinks and appetizers were served fast. The wait staff was attentive and service was great. The food was very good. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would definitely go back again. It doesn’t hurt either that prices are not bad.

Great atmosphere... excellent food. The croissants were light and tasty. The Chicken pot pie was nice and hot... and the Monte Cristo was fried perfectly... lightly golden and perfect. Our waitress, Lexus, was attentive, cheerful and kept refilling my mango flavored ice tea. Just perfect!

I've been coming to this place since they opened it up years ago. Their drinks and food are amazing! It's family friendly and has outside seating. The service is usually great and everyone is friendly and greets you with a smile. The atmosphere and decor are very nice. A great place to bring a date or the whole family. They do tend to get busy and have a wait on Friday nights, but that just means they are that good and maybe get in earlier to avoid the wait. So worth it!

I did not enjoy this experience. It was my first time going. The rice was not seasoned and drrrrrry. Spinach artichoke dip was a little over cooked. Chips was good. The loaded baked potatoes was hot but the cheese would not melt and the sour cream. The potato was not loaded. It had just sour cream and cheese. They was replaced by the waitress. She was excited. The kids chicken Alfredo was great. The broccoli casserole was not good at all. It was overcooked. We had a party of 8. 5 people complained about the food. The strawberry lemonade was oooooh so delicious.

The server we had was excellent, however the food quality was not. Everything was over cooked, dry & seemed like it was prepared in the microwave. This is one restaurant we will not be returning to dine at.

We came for a late brunch on Sunday and everything was great! Service was friendly, we didn't have to wait long for a table, and the food was delicious. I had the blackened shrimp alfredo and was impressed at the size of the portion. I also had their special cocktail called the Painkiller. It was good but I think would have tasted better if the ingredients were mixed instead of layered.

The waiter gave herself a tip without my consent. I contacted the manager and he wasn’t apologetic at all. He said she was his best worker and he’ll expect that from all his other workers not her and said he’ll “talk” to her. Unfortunately that was not enough and if I could I would press charges on her for violating, I trusted this restaurant with my card and after signing the receipt she put in her own tip. I’m am very disappointed with the way the store manager handled this situation.
