About Chen's Garden

Chen's Garden is a reliable Chinese restaurant serving consistently good food. The crab Rangoon is a highlight, and the restaurant is a great stop for a quick and delicious meal. With parking available on the side street and east of the building, it's easily accessible. While not fancy, Chen's Garden provides a satisfying dining experience.

The shrimp fried rice was fairly good, but the service could be improved. The cashier was cutting up vegetables in the dining area during one visit, and on another visit, the customer was charged the price for a larger size shrimp fried rice but received the same tray size with a little extra piled on top. The restaurant refused to make a larger size or reduce the price, so the customer received a refund.

The chicken wings were well-done and crispy, but the fried rice had a smoky taste and very few pieces of pork, making it more of a brown rice dish than a pork fried rice. The Crab Rangoon was a bit sweet for some customers' liking. The neighborhood around the restaurant has a sketchy appearance on the Broward side, but the service was generally good, speedy, and professional.
