Well worth going there. Everything we had was delicious. Our concierge at the Marriott BeachPlace Towers recommend it. We intend to eat there again when we ate in Ft Lauderdale.

The one star is for the friendly greeting and service I received when I picked up my takeout food. The ambience or lack there of if you were to eat in is non existent. It could be overlooked if the food was good. We did take out of the Generals Chicken and Hunan Chicken. Both were inedible. They were equally cooked as if they sat in oil. Their garlic sauce was apparently nothing more than soy sauce with some red chile peppers for heat. The generals chicken was over breaded and mushy (see attached photo). It's a shame since I had high expectations based on the recommendation from a friend. I'm beginning to think he hadn't eaten there! Given the 3.6 star rating I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

Friendly staff, greeted quickly. Soup arrived fast and was perfectly Hot. Food was excellent, low in sodium. The staff is observant and cater to the customer. Overall, A+ experience.

Decided to stop in here today after seeing it super busy a few weeks ago and I was 100% satisfied. Not overly expensive and great food. Got the chance to sit down and talk with the owner Christina for a while too and she is a very kind and smart woman. The house fried rice came with Pork, Chicken, and Shrimp and was delicious. I will definitely be back to try different dishes soon! Thank you guys!

Best Chinese restaurant in south Florida. One of the original south Florida Chinese restaurant families since 1966. Yes it is my sister’s place. My brother in law has carried out my family’s tradition of serving the best home made Chinese food started by my grandfather and my dad. I’m a bit biased but trust me you’ll love the

I recently visited Christina Wan's in Fort Lauderdale with my family, and I wanted to share our dining experience. To start on a high note, the wonton soup was a standout; it was very tasty and even managed to impress my son, which says a lot! However, not all dishes met our expectations. We ordered the beef and broccoli, hoping for a flavorful classic, but unfortunately, the beef tasted like it was just shy of turning bad. It was chewy and lacked the rich taste we were looking forward to in a beef broccoli dish. Moving on to the shrimp fried rice, we found it to be quite bland, and the shrimp themselves seemed less than vibrant, almost anemic in appearance. On a brighter note, the duck dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. It was the saving grace of our meal, showcasing what the kitchen is capable of when it hits the mark. Despite these mixed experiences, it was clear that Christina Wan's is a popular spot, as the establishment was very busy during our visit. This popularity made the subpar aspects of our meal all the more disappointing. We had high hopes given the bustling atmosphere, but it seems the quality of the food didn't quite match up to the lively vibe of the restaurant. In summary, while there were highlights like the wonderful duck and tasty wonton soup, the inconsistency in the quality of some dishes was a letdown. For future patrons, I'd recommend inquiring about the best dishes or sticking to what they're best known for, hoping your choices align with the kitchen's strengths.

The meat was chip strips with all the tendons, and the vegetables were stale and felt they were rejected from the cow shed. Miso soup tasted like horrible sea weed.Stay away from that restaurant

We were looking for Peking duck and this restaurant came up. It was better than we anticipated. Also had won ton soup, Shu Mai, spring rolls and cocktails. Peter, our server, was excellent and we had a relaxing, delicious experience. The woman tending bar came and spoke with us to see if we were happy.

Food is basic Chinese and good. It's not Cantonese just the usual round the way Chinese. Problem is I live a little out of their delivery range (3.2 miles) and they don't deliver so I use UberEats. Apparently UberEats use the restaurant delivery service which means no tracking ability and a time range.(Weird) When the range is up the app prompts you to ask if it's delivered with a yes or no. Select no and it calls the restaurant. The lady there was very nice and told me driver is on the road, I said ok but she insisted on calling him for an update which I told her it was not necessary. I was ok with knowing he was on the road running late. She called him and gave me an update. Driver came later with an attitude that he is here. Went and collected the food and said thanks and he was all pissy like a brat and walked off. I tried changing that 21 percent tip but couldn't. UberEats should use their own drivers if the restaurant have a range limit.
