A unique spot with fresh French sandwiches and desserts. Their little market is awesome and I love their coffee. Definitely my guilty pleasure and my number one recommendation for special and impressive desserts to bring to any party invite.

More like 3 1/2 stars this time, but I've been here many times in the past and had better experiences. No matter what, it's still pretty good -- especially their wonderful French bakery items. The restaurant has been around over 30 years. It's expanded a bit since I first started coming. There's inside and outdoor seating on the patio, but many people do takeout. It's located in a busy shopping strip (with other restaurants) on the west side of US 1/Federal Highway. You order by the pastry cases or the "main" counter. There's now another little room with all sorts of other "fine foods". In addition to their namesake croissants (and there's quite a few), there are daily baked breads, a wide array of pastries -- individual and specialty cakes and pies. All are made on the premises. The "to eat" items are hot entrees, salads, sandwiches, and a soup of the day. They can customize items as well for a charcuterie plate or a mini version of your choice. Did I mention their cookies and chocolates? Anyhow, we were able to snag one of few inside tables. You pay by the "other" counter. I ordered a tomato/mozzarella salad. It was pre-made and I was told to get it from the case. I'd wanted a salmon one but they were out of them. My husband got a two scoop tuna salad. His was made fresh -- and was much better than mine. Each salad came with a choice of roll (sour dough, French, etc). We also shared an almond croissant. That was delicious --filled with lots of flavorful almond paste and topped with copious slivered almonds. It was not overly sweet, either. My kind of dessert. I'd definitely return, but next time get one of their sandwiches that I've enjoyed on my previous visits. Plus one of their yummy pastries, too, of course.

Never disappointed when I come here. The coffee remains delicious as do all those yummy yums. I break my regimen of clean eating on purpose to enjoy a little pastry. This a tucked in staple in Fort Lauderdale and the service is always excellent.

Randomly passed by this bakery one morning, hands down one of the BEST ALMOND CROISSANTS we have ever had! Went in there & ordered the almond croissants, some chocolate/vanilla custard beignets, plain croissants & fresh bread to go, everything tasted amazing!! The only thing that wasn't the best was the Eclair, it was pretty dry on the inside; and the staff rushed us a little which I didn't appreciate because if they didn't rush me I would of kept ordering more.. They had a deli as well, but since it was so early we didn't get to try it, but that also looked great. They had indoor & outdoor seating & there is a lot of outdoor parking in the lot. After trying the croissants when we got home, we came again the next morning & got a bunch more! If I travel to Ft. Lauderdale again I will definitely be stopping by!

The bakery seems very old timey and has a traditional look to it. Nothing about Croissant'Time is modern, but the taste from the desserts are classic! We got the raspberry chocolate soufflé, two chocolate pastries, a key lime pie, and croissant for tomorrow morning. I loved my chocolate pastries. My fiancé described his key lime pie as so-so. I absolutely loved the service we had at the bakery. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area and craving French style pastries.

Best pasties in Fort Lauderdale. I have a friend whose Birthday wish was to have lemon meringue pie . I went to Croissant Time and asked if they had one. They said I needed to place an order. It was the most beautiful presentation I ever seen for a pie. The taste was not pie filling in a tub. Around holidays there is a line out the door.

The pastries and quiches are delicious but they are way too expensive. So my wife and I only come here on Sundays in the late morning. We sit outside, where there's limited seating. At about 11:30 AM a musician shows up. Live.guitar music. It makes the expensive pastries worthwhile. Otherwise we would go elsewhere for more-reasonably priced pastries and quiches.

There are view good bakery places that absolutely delight you upon entry, eating, and dining. This does all of them well. We wish we found them earlier in our trip because we would have gone daily. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant looked wonderful and that you could tour without pressure. And all of it is a perfect recipe of have a relaxing time. We will remember this bakery fondly and will hold other bakeries to the standard from this place

The pies, cakes and bread in this shop are all delicious. The price is a little high, but the best value is coffee cake ($13 for whole cake) Great for tea and coffee with your dear friends or as a gift.

The display case was beautiful and options for pastries and choices are great, however, I went there yesterday and was sorely disappointed with the pastry and pain au raisin. I would have loved some quiche, but $11.50 for the small pie I found overpriced. If you are European, this may not live up to your expectations.

Came here for the 2nd time and I do not recommend, owner is rude as well staff. I'm vegetarian and I only ask for a baguette that is $1.55 with cheese and they charged me a full sandwich which is a big rip off, then asked if I can add at least mustard to the full priced sandwich they charged me and the thrower a side counter with mustard in my bag and said you can use the plastic utensils. Very rude and unprofessional
