Dined here on Mother's Day and to our surprise the restaurant seemed to be short staffed, so there was a bit of a wait time. However, staff was nice and tried their best to accommodate everyone. Food was very good which was a plus!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Would def recommend. Pricing was fair considering we had 2 pitchers of sangria.

Had lunch at Cuba Libre and it was delightful. The restaurant is located in the heart of Las Olas Boulevard, has a huge full bar, gorgeous interior, and ample outdoor seating. My Coconut Mojito was perfectly prepared and had the optimal portions of alcohol and coconut to make it thoroughly enjoyable. The complimentary warm pressed bread, with the mango cinnamon butter, was exquisite. I could never get enough of it. For our entrees, we had the Salmon Paradiso (pan seared, skin on salmon filet, herb roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus, in a creamy lobster-tomato sauce). The Dragon Street Meatballs (From Havana's Chinatown, Chino-Latino glazed pork & beef meatballs, ginger, honey soy, ropa vieja jus, toasted sesame seeds, and grilled artisan bread). Both entrees were amazing, perfectly prepared, and had beautiful presentations. I cannot recommend Cuba Libre enough. You will enjoy a relaxing, attentively serviced, and memorable meal.

Such a fun atmosphere and the food is delicious! It's a bit of a loud party type feel but we loved it.

We loved this place! Great food! We had the croquettes, the guacamole and plantain chips to start, all were delicious! Good spice and very fresh. We split the cabana sandwich, came with black bean soup and salad. Everything was very delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!!

Ventured into Cuba Libre for lunch while strolling around Las Olas. We were seated at the perfect people watching spot; so we settled in. Our server came by , asked if we had any questions. We did. What's the most authentic dish on the menu? What would you recommend? How are the Mojitos? Are you from Cuba? She didn't skip a beat... yes she was from Cuba and missed her country. The mojitos are great what kind would you like? Here's what is most authentic and what I would choose and you can share! We ordered one classic mojito and one mango. Yum! Refreshing and delicious! Next we ordered a bowl of black bean soup- outstanding and for lunch we ordered Cuban Roast Pork with chicharrones, tostones, rice, bread and more black bean soup. The citrus flavored pork was perfectly cooked. The chicharrones were delightfully crunchy and the tostones were sweet and flavorful! Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Great food and ambiance! Had the Cuban Sandwich with very tasty black beans at it was fantastic. I would recommend coming here for the central location down the street from the beach.

I went for lunch and the ambiance was okay as the venue was not overwhelmed with guest during lunch time. We were provided great service, however I have tasted better Cuban food at other Cuban restaurants. Not the best but not the worse.

Food and drinks were good but a little pricey.Parking: Was 4 minutes late for paid street parking and ended up paying about $45 in additional fines and fees. Beware and don't be late!

I have one word, OVERPRICED!! Cuban, basic dishes for around $30, are you kidding me? Quality and portions are not good either. I would say this is a tourist trap. Restaurant is nice and big, but the ambiance is not truly Cuban. Service is not that great either. I would not recommend.
