G and his family are really kind and attentive. This is the place to come if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Hatian dishes. Don’t be afraid to ask for a nice cold Prestige beer or a Corounne soda to wash all that good food down. I love their Diri Djon rice and the gravy that is served with it. Atmosphere isn't great, but if you know anything about Haitian restaurants, the decor is often the reverse of the food quality. Poor decor, but good food is typical. Cuisine Lakay is no exception. Ordered the fried pork with rice and beans and it was made to order and pretty damn
I read the reviews, some are good and some are some are bad but I still wanted to try it. My main reason to try them was because I was craving Fritay but I was too early for it. They do fritay in the evening and I definitely go back again to try the fritay. Oh the legumes I purchased was delicious ? and the phone # online doesn’t work so they gave me a card with their new phone #.
