Homemade guacamole, and bacon appetizers great. Homemade sweet potato fries the best. Service was exceptional.
The food and beverages were as good as usual, though Doc B's fabulous French Fries have been off the last few visits due to a supply issue. The substitute fries aren't as good. The issue with our visit is the service and the building. The exterior of the building is really showing some wear, while the interior is less of an issue. The roof being replaced the day we're there may indicate they are addressing it. The service issue... Having to flag the waiter from the other half of the restaurant a couple times was due to his tables being on both sides of the restaurant and the patio. Having to ask for my first and only refill after my glass had been empty for 15-minutes... Not to the norm for what is normally five-star on every item. This location is one of three Doc B's we've visited. The other two can't compete with Ft. Lauderdale. This visit may have been off, but this is the first and only time in 10+ visits the last few years. I suspect it's a one-time issue. The manager is very engaged here, and I expect our next visit to be stellar, as usual.
Very nice restaurant open late in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale. Reasonable prices and very good service.
Me and wife went for brunch. The food was good. Our waitress Tracy was excellent. Just wished they hadn't taken away the DJ, and music. It felt like an older person's place. Too quiet. It's Easter, at least have some music to wind down your weekend.
I have eaten here many times. It's got a good vibe, good food and service. Great grilled artichokes too!
I'm a regular customer but last night the dinners were lacking! I was entertaining another couple from out of town. I suggested the Mediterranean Shrimp salad and it wasn't the same as we've enjoyed in the past. The salad looked like a bunch of iceberg lettuce only. The shrimp were so small. I ordered the tangled noodle bowl and it came to me cold. I didn't mention anything to our server since I was entertaining these old friends. The service was perfect. I go to this restaurant once a week and this was the first time I've ever had a problem. Something was definitely wrong in the kitchen.
Doc B's has some very creative salads for those who want something lite. I highly recommend the Tangled Noodle salad with tofu!
Love Doc B's my five year old stated she wanted to go to Brunch as my friends and I do for mommy time. This was the perfect setting for mommy and me food music ambiance was super. The candied bacon never fails so many healthy and delicious choices on the brunch menu to entice my little one she devoured the berry French toast. She stated Doc B's was definitely a 10 out of 10.
This was my first time having dinner at this restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! The service was phenomenal. The drinks were excellent and I had the best crispy chicken salad ever! The fillet sliders were also awesome. But do not miss out on getting the candied bacon, so yummy! This is a great local spot, and I cannot wait to return.
Three of us did a mid-week pre-theater dinner at Doc B's recently. We were greeted warmly on arrival and seated immediately. We ordered a guacamole with sweet potato chips appetizer which was shared (and loved.) We all ordered the kale salad, two with salmon, one with seared tuna. The salads were quite ample, attractively plated and studded with dried cranberries, fresh corn, wasabi peas and pistachios. Everyone agreed their fish was prepared perfectly. Delicious. We decided to try the desserts and shared a piece of chocolate cake and a slice of key lime pie. Both were definitely worth the calories. We arrived a little before 6:00 and were able to make it to the theater in plenty of time for our 7:30 play. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I came here with my grandparents for a nice Saturday lunch. The food was good and the hostess was nice. Our server Andrew was so incredibly rude. I used to work in the service industry so I understand long days, and I understand rude customers but we were anything but that. As we were looking over the check, my grandfather had his credit card in his hand looking at the receipt, and he came over and snatched the card out of his hand. He looked annoyed every single time he came up to us and never once smiled. I like this place and will still recommend it to people, but people who are rude and unkind should not work in the service industry.

Absolutely DISGUSTED..... With how amazing this place was... Our server Elisa.. was amazing.. gave wonderful recommendations.. she was on top of everything the entire experience.. The food.... OMG!!! Literally one of the best meals I've ever had... The candied bacon was the star tonight though.. seen it on multiple menus.. but never ordered it... I will never not order it now.. but it will always be held in comparison to Doc Bs.. last but not least.. coldest damn draft beer I've ever had... Will definitely be back.. excited to try everything else???
