Perfect place for Sunday or any day. Very friendly people! I had my favorite breakfast poached eggs over grits. Perfect eggs.

My wife and I eat at DUFFYS DINER before going to the Isle Casino. The Tuna Fish sandwich on Rye bread is excellent. The rye bread is thick and soft. Most places that serve Tuna on Rye bread are thin and a little hard. Duffys serves a great breakfast. Unfortunately I just found out that they went out of business last week.

My second visit to Duffy's. The avocado toast comes in first place on the menu items. Try the waffles with fried chicken.

I visited this restaurant to get some breakfast stood by the wait to be seated sign no one came to seat me ask the owner did he see me he said I was on the phone I told him what does that have to do with me trying to get breakfast. PS you think because black.

I drive 4 hours just to eat there ! Well not quite. I visit a family member and while I'm down there I make sure to go eat there. The food is excellent. The diner is clean and service is excellent as well. Never had a bad experience. Prices are very good also.
I haven't been to Duffys in at least 10 years and it certainly was a disappointment. I had a special corned beef omelette with grits. The meat was horrid I had to napkin nearly every piece until I gave up and just pushed it all out and to the side. It wasn't tender and it was all gristle. My dining partner had a grilled chicken club and it looked good but I didn't taste it although I did eat one of her French fries. Im also a "masker" and did nothing like the fact that our server wore only a clear shield so when she stood directly over our table talking her air would go where? Straight down toward our food.

Its been awhile since I've been here..I know why..service was Good..food..So So when I see the word diner I think of comfort food and atmosphere...it looks cleaner then last time I was here but very not diner -like..to many other places to frequent..and I live within walking distance of this place
