Hate to do this but... what happened to my favorite Chinese takeout joint ??‍♂️ from what I was told a few times ago I went, owners sold it due to retirement which God bless them but the new owners ruined it. Just close the doors officially and move on.

Closed at 6pm on a Friday is a clear sign

I went there on a Friday and they were closed! It was only 9:30pm and they close at 11:30pm Horrible!?? Never Again!

please don’t waste your time coming here if your expecting good Chinese food. The customer service is great but the food isn’t what it used to be :( the pork fried rice was plain, tasted like they just poured soy sauce on it & added some decor & so was the orange chicken which had little flavor & sauce.

East China is no longer. This Havana infusion is not working. New owners thought they could attach themselves to the original East China’s legacy but absolutely not. Sad to see East China gone. Even sadder the food at this new place isn’t good.

Do not eat here I order two pork chop meals. Does this look like pork chops no it’s beef the beans r dry no flavor. Very disappointed this is far from Cuban food

I have been ordering from East China since 2017 and have raved about them to many over the years at some of the best take out food in the area. They were always a little higher priced but worth it. I thought they had closed and recently found out they’ve rebranded as a Chinese and Cuban fusion place. Is it me or this the strangest fusion ever come up with. I asked if it was the same owners and was told yes. A lot of the former best dishes are no longer on the menu, I thought I’d give it a simple try. So I just ordered pork fried rice. They used to give you a container jam packed with awesome flavored rice. What I received was a quart soup container that wasn’t even filled to the top. And considering they are one of the most expensive take out places around, I was shocked. But even more shocking was the flavor. Or better described as LACK OF FLAVOR. There was no taste and overcooked rice. It was disgusting and not worth ten cents let alone the $13 and change I paid. IT WAS INEDIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Well, I was going to order , but then I see the name "east china in Havana" what the heck??
Thank you all, for the honest reviews, It stopped me from throwing my money in the trash. I loved this Place when it was solely Chinese. I want to know where the y went???
