Had lomo saltado it was HORRIBLE, not lomo saltado at all, full of tomato sauce and the meat was rubbery and dry, skip it there are better options

I wish you can make 0 star reviews worst costumer service ever. I made a big order and two dishes were missing called the restaurant right away and they accused me stealing. the manager basically said I was a criminal mind you I work for a big company and I picked up the order for a meeting. manager super rude interrupted me and basically talk over what I said and then proceeded to hang up and when I call back employees told me he’s gone for the day and to call after 5 pm.

In the Fort Lauderdale area again this evening en route to another sailing adventure in the U.S. and Spanish VIs… After a long day and a multi-hour flight delay, It was late. El Tamarindo Cafe was one of the closest restaurants with a bar! We decided to give it a shot, and so glad we did!Vic was our server, and did a good job. It was getting close to closing time, but waited on us like it was mid-evening. Enjoyable paced meal. With a couple of margaritas, we decided on the soup of the day (seafood soup) and a special of the day, trout in a brandy sauce with julienned veggies on the side. Both dishes were solid. Cooked well, served hot, and the seasonings were complex, layered and delicious. We’d definitely go back. Recommend El Tamarindo Cafe!

Exquisite! The dinner was delish and the service was outstanding! The best coconut flan I have ever had...pared well with the espresso. ? Ordered the fresh fish with salad and the salad was SO good. Mostly because of their house dressing. I normally would have ordered the dressing on the side but forgot and could've eaten my weight of it-sooo good! My wife had the tostones with lechon appetizer and she says it was also very delicious. Price was decent considering we each had appetizers, meal, and dessert plus espresso. Worth every penny! The photo does not do the flan justice. It was soooo creamy and delicious, I want to go back and have it for breakfast. So glad I don't live here. ?

An amazing experience! They were so kind here, and our second round of drinks was on the house. Food was some of the best food I had in Fort Lauderdale! The atmosphere is also gorgeous. Felt like it was family run and owned and I loved it.

Went here for a friend’s milestone celebration. We had been here over a yr ago and I could say this place was decent. Now… this place is trash. The food quality was horrible , the pork was so dry I took two bites and was done . We were charged $10 for a cup of chimichuri sauce . Would not recommend. Go someone with better quality food for the same price.
