This was so dang good! I came here because I searched where to find the best pozole in Fort Lauderdale because it’s cold out! Had the mole tamale as a starter, agua jimaica for a drink, and a big bowl of pozole with all the fixins. Yum!

10/10 experience!! Food was phenomenal and service was incredible! Jennifer, Margarita, and the whole weekend crew were exceptional! We had delicious nachos, quesabirras, chicken and shrimp Fajitas and tres leches. The fajitas and tres leches were our favorite! Highly recommend if you want a great authentic Mexican meal!!!

Real Mexican food! The chips and salsa are authentic, like being in Mexico. The enchiladas were delicious. Everything exceeded my expectations. Great service too.

This place is excellent! I’ve driven by here many times, it’s like a mile away from my house. Please give them a try! The owner and staff are very sweet and attentive, the food is authentic Mexican. The Café de olla is a delicious Mexican coffee with cinnamon, I never had it until now-It’s the owner’s grandmother’s recipe from Mexico. Try the huevos rancheros.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was beyond a 10/10—super, super, super flavorful in every bite. I’ve been to so many Mexican restaurants, but this one easily stands at the top. The flavors were bold, fresh, and unforgettable. Jennifer was an amazing server, and head Chef Hugo truly made the experience special. He was incredibly talkative and interactive, took the time to explain the meaning behind the restaurant, showed us examples, and genuinely made an effort to connect with us. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and is passionate. From the second I walked in, I felt so welcomed, and the amazing vibes lasted all the way until the end. I don’t know if it was the food, the people, or both—but everything about this place was just perfect.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience at Epazote!
Epazote is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurant experiences I’ve had. From the moment we walked in, everything was a solid 10 out of 10 — food, service, atmosphere, everything.
The food was absolutely incredible. We tried the birria tacos with consommé, al pastor tacos, enchiladas, and corn in a cup, and every single dish was packed with flavor and made perfectly. You can really tell the care and authenticity that goes into the food.
The service made the experience even better. Our waitress Jennifer was amazing — super kind, attentive, and welcoming. On top of that, Head Chef Hugo personally took the time to talk with us, explain the story behind the restaurant, the atmosphere, and even the meaning behind the name Epazote. He was incredibly warm, passionate, and genuinely proud of what he’s created, which made the experience feel even more special.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, great vibes, and people who truly care about their guests, Epazote is the place. I can’t recommend it enough — we’ll definitely be coming back! From- Angie and Angel

Restaurantji Recommends
My fist time here, amd this place is cozy and quaint, nice music, and soft decor to that honoring Mexican culture. I ordered tacos shrimp and fish with a side of guac. Karen was an awesome server, knowledgeable and attentive. Miguel was also excellent and suggested id tried the highest level hotsauce based on my preference. Over all a great experience, I will return to try other dishes. I recommend!

Disappointed. So many good reviews. Being from California I really wanted to love it for don’t authentic Mexican food . But I was served cold tacos and they lacked seasoning.
