Just had dinner with my husband for taco Tuesday deals. We had a variety of tacos including the birria tacos, yum! Overall I have to say all the tacos were very well filled. Chef was generous with his servings! It is a MUST to save space for the chocolate filled churros! You won’t regret it! Chef/owner was very attentive, I love that! Great place! A must try!!

Very disappointed. I can't understand why reviews are high. Fajita $25 comes with 7 shrimp peppers and onions (no rice no beans no sour cream no salad no pico de galo). Poblano Mahi Mahi also not recommended. Margarita takes like lemonade. At Chilli's Shrimp Fajita 19.99 comes with everything. Quality is not a factor ( it is Shrimp, onions and green peppers ). One fajita dish came to table but no fajitas ... after a few minutes the server. Why you not eating? Does it come with tortilas? Oh, sorry ... after several minutes the Mahi Mahi came (the portion of rice and beans on it TOO LITTLE). Sorry don't recommend.

If you asked me to suggest an authentic Mexican place… this is the one !!Green chilaquiles if you don eat spicy,Red chilaquiles if you like spicy !Shrimp cocktail (Mexican style) the best ! First time here and we were quite impressed with all of our food. Everything seems homemade with love. Best Mexican food I've had in Fort Lauderdale by far. Four stars for the service since it was a bit confused. The atmosphere was very authentic but the music was a bit too loud. I love mole so had the duck with mole and it was so good and it was a generous serving. Took some home. The guac and chips were great and so were the churros for dessert. Can't wait to return.

The staff was definitely friendly and attentive, but it doesn't change the fact that this isn't a true Mexican eatery. The only reason i gave this place two stars is because of the polite and attentive service. It's clear they're aiming to please a white Anglo demographic, which fits the location. However, the food lacked flavor, especially the beans. (Makes sense since they are targeting a crowd that likes bland food). The absence of sopes, gorditas, or tostadas, and lengua is disappointing, and not offering horchata feels like a major oversight for a place claiming authenticity. The flavors were bland, likely adjusted for their target audience. Being asked to choose between corn or flour tortillas raised concerns for me. While I don't mean to be overly harsh, this place falls short for anyone in search of an authentic Mexican culinary experience.

Had a great time for my sister-in-law birthday.Mole was delicious, highly recommended. They brought out a dessert without asking which was very nice and honestly, I don’t have a sweet tooth but I ate most of it. Not sure what it was called. The only thing I would say is that the Al pastor tacos need grilled pineapple instead of just cold pieces but it was a minor thing that didn’t warrant a change in rating. Especially because it was taco Tuesday. Will be back, Simone was wonderful and knew her stuff.

This has to be one of the best authentic sit down Mexican restaurants in South FL right now!! The food is absolutely to die for. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Definitely get the chips and sala and at least one taco. The service was good they were extremely busy so at times it was a bit slow but absolutely to be expected. The ambiance felt like being transported to Mexico. Overall, we can't wait to go back. I think this is a great value for everything we got and it's a small family owned business. Definitely check it out! We can't wait to go back.
