Wonderful cafe with products you usually only find in France. Bread is made in house.

This place has reopened as Star Boulangerie. Looks like new owners and they still have some kinks to work out: orders were lost, food came out slowly, cappuccino had a minuscule amount of foam and a ton of milk. But the bread and pastry - clearly their strong suit - was impeccable. And the owners are delightful. I hope they can get things in order and keep this place going!

It has not closed!!!!!! The owner is from the south of France and has been here for 7 months. Fantastic French pastries, baguettes, omelettes. The place is a pleasure to eat in. Fantastic pastries and a great breakfast. This is a must try if you're looking for a small, quiet place to get great food. Friendly owners, great food and a really cool vibe. Way better than iHOP!

I found this place while walking towards the Galleria mall. I tried their croissant. And they were amazing. It was the best one I have ever had. I had also a small sandwich with some Italian meat. Still can't remember the name but it was delicious as well! Recommend this place !

Just passing through Ft Lauderdale and found this place on Yelp when looking for a breakfast option. This had 4 stars so we wanted to check it out. The good: the croissants were fantastic! The croissant itself was light and flaky, just melting in your mouth as you ate it. I think the almond and chocolate were the best. The staff and (I think) the owner were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The place is clean, has seating inside and out, and service was quick. Room for improvement: the omelette was more like fried eggs with ingredients inside. Eggs not whipped like you'd expect. The decor is wonderful French cafe but it is confusing. It almost seems like 3 different restaurants but it's only one. Where you order, menus, and where/when you pay are not obvious. So the flow can be be improved a bit. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

C'est magnifique! This place is a gem. It's worth a few extra moments to find it. We had breakfast here every morning of our visit. I can't recommended the crêpes or the croque madame highly enough. Sheer delights. And the croissants, oh, the croissants! Flaky, buttery heaven. And the coffee...from regular to café au lait or latte, it's better than any chain java joint. But let's not forget lunch...deliciousness on a stellar baguette. Got room for more? A gorgeous fruit tartlet, eclair, or a few macarons will fill the bill. And let me not forget the staff, warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They even let me practice my amateur French on them, with a smile!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is amazing! I got the egg, ham and cheese croissant. The crossiant was nice, buttery, flakey. The eggs and ham were cooked perfectly. The delicious tart was so good. I want another 20. The fruit wasn't too bitter. Normally I hate strawberries but these were perfect not bitter at all. The cream in the middle was nice and smooth. It all went together fantastically. 10 out of 10 would definitely come back. If I lived in Ft Lauderdale this would be the my breakfast spot.

Delicious! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The person helping us was French and able to explain everything we asked about. The chocolate croissants were amazing as was the chocolate twist. We took home a baguette and it was one of the best I've ever had. I also had ham and cheese quiche that was great, too. We will be back when in the area. Highly recommend!

That was my favorite French Coffee shop in Fort Lauderdale, but after my last visit, cause of disappointing service I will not return. The last who served us was very rude and unprofessional. The tree stars are for always good taste of the Products.

The girl who made my iced latte gave me a glass of milk with a splash of iced coffee in it. I literally had to ask if that was espresso? Got my sandwich and waited 15 minutes for my husband's to show up. They forgot about it so I watched him eat long after I was finished. What a mess. The food was pretty good. Won't return based on service.

Bonjour, oui oui madamemoiselle, croissant? Ok that's all I know of French. No, but really, when you walk in here you feel like you're transferred straight to Paris. The important key word in my life is croissant! That's all I need to know! This French, family-owned, bakery is fantastic! Truthfully, every time I come in here I promise myself to try something "new" but I can't move on past the chocolate almond croissant, it's my fave. Rumor has it they sell the BEST Swiss cheese croissant. One day, I'll have to try it, just not today lol! #loyaltomychocolatecroissant Anyways, they have a bunch of options in the bakery section, they also sell subs (made with their fresh baked baguette), salads, pastas and much more. Of course you can't forget about coffee, they have it all! Wine? Also! Ita a great bakery if you're next door at the amazing Casbah Spa for a nice spa day or if you're wanting to have a nice little breakfast before hitting the beach. Great spot, great food!
