Overdue review ! Great fish and oysters and food ! Cathy, Patrick and the staff are amazing ! Very consistent ! Simply the best in south Florida ! Great sushimi grade fish ! A+++++
This place is the absolute best!!! This is the only spot my family will get fish from because of how incredibly fresh their seafood is every single time. On top of that, they are extremely friendly!
Do a weekly buy of fresh fish here. Love their seed crackers. Support local fresh fish! Love the Italian tuna burgers.
Finster Murphy is outstanding. Always providing fresh seafood. Great lunch selections. Great quality !!
My mother, uncle, and I had lunch here today. It was actually an Experience to be remembered. 😆The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. We had; fried snapper, grilled snapper, and cilantro - lime mahi mahi, fries and coleslaw.
The entire staff are just amazing- very attentive. Kately took care of us. She was precious - super sweet, helpful and professional. The owner, Pat walked over to each table, asking how were things. That’s a real Plus. The place is quaint, very clean, with an awesome positive vibe. We will be back.
I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience today. As someone with a service dog, I am well aware of my rights under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), which legally allows service animals to accompany their handlers in public businesses. However, the staff here refused me entry in an extremely rude and dismissive manner.
Instead of handling the situation professionally or even attempting to understand the law, they spoke to me with zero respect and made it clear they did not care about accommodating a legitimate service animal. Their attitude was not just uninformed—it was outright hostile.
This is unacceptable for any business, let alone one that serves the public. I would not recommend supporting an establishment that disregards accessibility laws and treats customers so poorly. I hope they take the time to educate themselves, but based on today’s interaction, I won’t be returning to find out.
Friendly and good service
Way overpriced for me. $3 oysters?
I shop at this market and eat at this restaurant two to three times a week. It is outstanding. FM's is the best seafood market and restaurant around. It has the best selection of fresh seafood and the staff is the friendliest, and most knowledgeable, of any place I have ever been. It deserves 10 gold stars!

Last Thursday September 5th one of my friend recommended me this place to go to eat I got there at 1:10pm, I drove 20min to get there on time before they close so I can try it.
I was disappointed, the worst service ever the owner in the kitchen instead say welcome she almost say she is done for today. I ordered some extra zucchini with my order and the waitress said no bcs they were closing and very rude she said this is nor a restaurant so I answered her: so should I go ? And she said yes. I never been treated so bad and disrespectful. I will never come back I don't recommend this expensive and bad service place.
Possibly the worst tuna salad I've ever had... It tasted smokey, like that's never a flavor profile I want in a tuna salad. And it definitely did not taste/look fresh. The only saving grace was the fresh crunchy bread and veggies on top (arugula, tomato, red onion). Only thing that made it edible. Otherwise, I'd have asked for my money back.
Service was not the best either... Had to wait 15 min for that untasty sandwich. And the staff was a bit unfriendly.
Def do NOT recommend.
Expensive!
Bought squid to cook at home… it had a strong ammonia smell and was foamy. Had to throw it away. So disappointed, but I want to believe it was bad luck. Last week, the waiter at an upscale restaurant recommended Finster Murphy’s so I’ll give it another try.
Well, I wasn't expecting it to be THAT good. The crabcakes are delicious. I'd even say they're better than my own. I was only stopping in for some fish dip. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw there was a variety of fish dips and dips in general. I got the smoked fish dip and the wahoo. Both are tasty. I was supposed to make the crabcakes for dinner, but couldn't stop myself from making them for lunch instead. I topped them with the in house dijonaise sauce. I'll be back for sure. The other thing I want to mention is that they put my items in a bag with a bag of ice to keep everything cold while traveling home. That was great considering I was 30 minutes from hone.
