I had a very embarrassing moment here this evening as this location was offering a free meal to veterans on Veteran’s Day. As someone who has served for seven years I was denied a meal due to not having a medical VA card rather than my active duty CAC (actual military ID). The manager claimed that I am just a government worker and not in the military.

This place is a complete disappointment. I went today and there was a veteran trying to get his Veterans Day meal (today is Veterans Day), and he didn’t have his military ID on him but he had his DD214 which if you are familiar with the military you know is just as valuable or more! Evidence of your service right there! And this girl at the front DID NOT give him his veteran meal. She just didn’t accept his proof of service. She should be ashamed and the establishment should too. He just left. I lost my appetite.

Rarely do fast food restaurants and good employees go together. But the tall gentleman worker is always friendly and makes a great meatball sub. Clean restaurant as well. Ya got a good one FHS. Don’t let him get away! !

I think It was my first time eating at Firehouse ever, and OMG, what have I been missing out on? Michelle was absolutely delightful. Top tier customer service. She made the sweet tea and subs and wow... it was AMAZING. I had the firehouse Hero, but I added mushrooms and black olives. BANGING! The veggies were fresh, the bread was soft, and I literally felt the love..
