Big Mike’s a golden find!! I was elated to land on such a hit! It’s completely safe for celiacs and the kind of deliciousness that makes one swoon! Big Mike himself is gracious, sweet, and friendly. It is clearly evident he loves what he does and cares about reassuring celiacs like me that everything is safe as they’re a 100% dedicated GF restaurant. He also has celiac himself so he understands all too well how incredibly precious this is. The people are lovely there and willing to help with any culinary questions! Our meal was so good and we look forward to returning next time we are in Fla! Everything is worth trying!! Put this place high on your list for Breakfast & Lunch!

Found this place on Google while vacationing in FLL. We were looking for a a gluten free place and were surprised to find a brunch place that was 100% gluten free and vegan friendly. The food was top quality. Best of all, we got to meet the owner, Big Mike. You can tell he cares about the place and the quality of the food. Would highly recommend this place. If I ever find myself in FLL in the future, I’d return to this place for brunch.

RUN. Don’t walk! I have only been a Vegan for 2 months. BIG MIKES BLEW ME AWAY.

Not only was it the best omelette I have ever had (vegan or not), the energy and peace of the owner and staff is such a gift. Their focus is 10,000% on exceptional food!

Coffee with oatmilk in a French press. Vegan Belgium waffle came standard with the omelette. The home fries were heaven. I immediately was taking pictures and sending home to my wife in Charleston, South Carolina.

Big Mike has a big future!

This place is legit, came in from Colorado for a cruise and Big Mike's was amazing! Probably in the top 3 breakfasts I ve ever had. Everything was great service, food, and options. We'll definitely be back every time we're in town !!

Big Mike’s Healthy Choices in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful food made with care. The staff was super friendly, and Big Mike even stopped by to chat and make sure we loved everything. Great vibes and awesome experience!

We ate here on 2/8/2026, and I can’t say enough good things about Big Mike’s Gluten Free. This place is absolutely outstanding.

The food was incredible. The waffles topped with fresh fruit were light, crispy, and packed with flavor. The pancakes were fluffy, perfectly cooked, and soaked up the syrup just right. And the chocolate donut was unreal. You’d never guess any of this was gluten free. Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and done with real care.

What really stands out is that this isn’t “good for gluten free.” It’s just great food, period. If you didn’t know it was gluten free, you’d never question it. Portions were generous, presentation was great, and everything came out hot and fresh.

You can tell this place is run by people who truly care about what they’re serving. Whether you’re gluten free or not, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back, and we’ll be recommending it to everyone we know.

We had the BEST experience at Mike’s Healthy Spot. Big Mike is an absolute gem—the sweetest, most welcoming human. He was so cordial and genuinely made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in.

The staff was awesome, customer service was on point, and the food… WOW. Truly phenomenal. Everything tasted real—you’d never know it was gluten-free. No weird textures, no “healthy substitute” vibes—just straight-up bomb food.

We had pancakes, Belgian waffles, eggs, chicken, sausage, donuts (yes, plural 😍), fresh-pressed coffee, and a green juice—and every single thing was a hit.

If you’re gluten-free (or honestly even if you’re not), this place is a must. 10 out of 10 across the board. We’ll 100% be back.

What a gem! We are sailboat cruisers and we were passing through Ft. Lauderdale. My wife is GF so she’s always seeking decent GF menus. Well, Big Mike’s entire menu is GF, and GOOOOD!!! We’ve eaten there at least five times in our two stops in three stops in Ft. Lauderdale. Everything was made with love. We will continue to go there whenever we’re in this town.
