It's great when it's not spring break. I made the mistake of taking my kids there last week and was indeed taken aback by what I witnessed. However, I must commend the Fort Lauderdale Police Department for their outstanding presence and the excellent job they did.
I tell you about the parking! It costs 20 dollars all day. It is better for them to leave the car here than to leave it in the municipal parking lot across the street. Those parking spaces cost 15 USD from 0 to 3 hrs.
Amazing beach to take a swim in the ocean just moments away. There are many options for dining, and the management is very polite. A perfect place for your family and loved ones to enjoy Fort Lauderdale.
