Docks not made for 53 foot trailers with sleepers. Had a 7am appointment and got there at 7am and the guy tells me to go around back that he's got two people ahead of me. Said they we're here first. I was here the day before and was told to come back at 7am. They said the don't go by appointments. First come first serve. They're playing favorites. Probably was paid to get in the door first since of how tight the docks are.

That place is so small, this is not for 53” semi trucks, is to hard for maneuver or backing to de doors
TODAY ABOUT 6.15 am I ARRIVED AT THIS PLACE TO LOAD FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I LEFT THE TRUCK TO ASK A MAN ABOUT THIS PLACE AND HIS ATTENTION AND INTEREST IN HELPING ME WAS EXCELLENT I DON'T KNOW IF HIS NAME IS ALEX CARGUE AND BEFORE LEAVING I LOOKED FOR HIM THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP I DIDN'T SEE IT IF ANYONE READS THIS COMMENT, LORD, APOLLO'S DRIVER THANK YOU VERY MUCH GOD BLESS YOU THANK YOU
Fcfs usually pretty fast easy going
The only reason for the 3 stars is the location and the mess you have to deal with backing into the dock
****Procedure***
●Pull throug gate
● park along right side of blogs
● Check in at door 402
● They will call with door
● Make a left to straighten out trailer
●straight back to docks
and do your thang
●I suggest sliding tandems forward, but you do you
*** Try to avoid all the idiots driving and walking around you while backing***
Pull in and park next to the building and check in. Once assigned a door turn left and straighten out. There will be all kinds of cars and people in your way. Then you will reverse all the way back to your door. Luckily I am team and had a spotter because no one here is going to help you. Once you do get near your door there is practically no room to get into the door but it is doable, it just takes forever and employees keep walking infront of you while you're trying to straighten up.
This is hands down the WORST company I've ever delivered on, took them 4 hours to give me a door, i had to go and ask why it was taking so long, it turns out they completely forgot there was a truck waiting since 8 am, this place is not equipped to receive full combination truck and trailer, this is an accident waiting to happen

I recently had Halperns Australian, American, and Japanese A5 Waygu and was incredibly impressed. I regularly eat good prime cuts and occasionally a A5 Waygu filet or ribeye but the quality of these was incredible and I was surprised to find 2 of 3 were never frozen. Highly recommend.

It is the worst place of all the places I have had to deliver, they do not respect the appoiment and they do not care at all how long you have to wait, there are no parking conditions and it is a dirty place and lack of attention, also super uncomfortable for the access to unloading doors for 53-foot trucks
Honest evaluation here! The folks are nice. SOME are even understanding of the plight faced by any OTR (with 53' trailer) truck driver. Companies, please do NOT send your rookies here. This place is not for the "faint of heart" truck driver. It is EXTREMELY tight and difficult to maneuver in this area due to the multitude of obstacles. The dock area is NOT built for acceptance of 53' trailers attached to OTR SLEEPER trucks. It is built for shorter, smaller equipment. Parking, of any sort, is nonexistent. Upon arrival, was immediately directed to a dock door. Was unloaded (1 pallet) faster than the time it took to position onto the dock. Even an experienced driver would AVOID any future deliveries to this facility like the plague!
Even if you arrived the1st they will start unloading by the priority they have at the moment and after 8am, super mega tight place but if you know you know, park at the side of the buildings, and be patient. Very nice people. I was very lucky, appt at 8am, door at 10am, out at 11am. Stay WIDE at the entrance. Stay safe!
Nice people little tight to back in
I recently purchased a case of Brisket from Halperns for hundreds of dollars for my BBQ business kick off. When I opened the box, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. 2 of the 5 brisket were completely inedible and at least 75 percent fat with gouges taken out of the fat cap and random lacerations through the flat and point. It was so ridiculous it almost seemed intentional. DO NOT trust this company for quality beef. If you are going to charge a premium for your product and market yourself as Gourmet then there needs to be some serious quality control changes. I know I won’t get a dime off the money I wasted back from you so please do better. Don’t waste your time here. Buy from Snake River Farms.
