I arrived at Hot Diggity Dogs & More starving at lunchtime and asked about their hotdogs. I was greeted by an incredibly friendly woman. However, when I looked at the sign, I saw that the place only accepted cash, which irritated me because it’s 2024 and I found this very outdated.

Have been meaning to stop here and am so glad I finally did. I didn’t realize it was cash only and when I wasn’t sure if I had cash he offered to buy my hot dog for me. I did end up finding cash in my car, but the offer warmed my heart. And my hot dog was delicious!

Such a nice simple old school spot that delivers 100% in the food and 200% in the service. The staff is really nice and kind. It’s one of those places where you go in for a quick bite and leave with a good feeling that will make your whole day better. Have some cash ready and make sure to try the Chicago Style Dog.
