I used to love ichimora but the quality has massively gone down. Today i picked up a kogashi garlic ramen /udon (usually one of our favs) and it was literally inedible. The broth tasted like just water with a little oil. Couldnt stomach more than one spoon of it and neither could my partner. Tried calling to see if we could somehow resolve this but they pickup and immediately hangup everytime. Its sad what its become as this used to be a fav of ours for sure. Wish i could get a refund on just that part of the order because it was quite literally inedible.

We visited on a Sunday at about 3 in the afternoon. We were not sure if it was open despite the hours being posted online because we could not find an open entrance. Tip: If the gate is locked on 1st street you have to enter through the garage on 2nd Ave. We had read some reviews and saw the restaurant has high marks overall so we were excited. We were pretty disappointed. We ordered beef skewers, spicy shrimp wonton, crab dumplings, edamame, and Dan Dan noodles. With the exception of the dumplings, everything was very mid including the temperature of the food. Nothing was hot when it got to the table. There was little to no flavor in any of it. Even the salted edamame was not salty enough. We asked for some chili crisp oil to try and lift the dishes, but that was a fail, too. Maybe Sundays is not the best day to come here. Overall, this was a miss. Though, we had a very pleasant server. Unfortunately, we came for the food.

Absolutely loved my experience at Ichimora! Every dish I tried was packed with flavor — the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen was rich and perfectly balanced, the Stew Beef Noodle Soup was incredibly comforting, and the Kogashi Garlic Ramen had the most amazing depth and aroma. The Dan Dan Noodles were also a standout — just the right amount of spice and so satisfying. 10/10 recommend this spot to anyone who loves delicious, authentic ramen. The chef/manager/server is so kind and sweet — you can tell they put a lot of love into every dish. Can’t wait to come back!

I love giving great reviews because I think it is very important and rewarding for businesses to be acknowledged but unfortunately, today it is not the case. Let me just say that I have been coming here since they first opened. At first they had a different menu and it tasted fantastic! I liked it so much that I would some times come two times a week and I also brought people with me since I recommended it. Then, one day I come back along people and everything that we had previously ordered, was completely removed from the menu. Apart from food being removed from the menu, the pricing also went up drastically. I was disappointed. I still came back but unfortunately, they stopped being consistent in every way. A lot of time passed and I decided to try them again. I ordered food for pick up and was told to come in about 10 minutes. My fiancé gets there and ended up waiting an extra 15 more minutes after the 10 minutes that they told me to wait for. I would’ve been completely understanding if we were told to come in 20 to 30 minutes but clearly that didn’t happen. Finally, he gets the food and I had my fiancé ask for the sauce that comes with the dumplings because if you don’t ask for it, they won’t automatically give it to you. It is the rice wine vinegar sauce and I know this because the waiters from previous visits have described the sauce before. The lady told my fiancé that the soy sauce is enough and handed him just that. Now, this might seem stupid for complaining for sauce but this place has just become ridiculous. Like I stated before, I got more than just soy sauce for the dumplings in the past. I don’t understand why that was said when I know that I am not making this up. The restaurant has always provided this before and now it seems to be a problem. I am already paying a lot for this meal for something so small as sauce not be given. I was not asking for much. I wanted to love this place but I now know that I won’t return. I am also a small business owner and strive in customer service and I understand that this industry is not easy and everything has become expensive but this place really lost their touch.
