It was barely 8:00pm and they were out of chicken, the replacement veal chop was so heavily breaded I'm not sure there was veal inside with no flavor. And when asking for Pellagrino, we got some off brand . If you don't have things the wait staff should advise. Both our meals were disappointing, not flavourful!
Il Mulino was nice and cozy! Our server was very pleasant and amicable. My Husband and I enjoyed a bottle of Moscato with the calamari as our appetizer. For my entrée, I had the lasagna (which was delicious). My Husband had the Veal Parmigiana with rigatoni tossed in pink sauce. The food and service were satisfactory. We look forward to dining there again in the future. Thank you!
We always have great service and great food! The portions are huge, so come with an appetite! :)
Food was great. The only thing I don't understand is they offer a bone in veal chop Milanese with arugula and tomato and I asked if they could make it Parmesan and they said they couldn't. They offer eggplant parm and chicken parm. So, what's the problem?
Lovely food and place
I went to one the splash Wednesdays. The food was great. However one of the hostesses (tall blond woman) met me at the registration with such rudeness... she practically made very clear that she wants to ignore me and was very displeased that I even was there attending... after this I have little desire to come back. The event I liked.
Food quality and service were very good, the ambiance was not up to expectations from web site photos. We will be back for the food!
Il Mulino always has consistent dishes. Took the family there for Father's Day and although they were crowded, service was good, food was good and warm. It's one of our go-to places for Italian food.
Service is very attentive, as well as tasty dishes. Bring your appetite! Relax, have a glass of wine and unwind! A family Father's Day tradition for decades! Don't forget the desserts! Yummy!
Janet came by our office building to a networking event and filled us in on all the SUPER COOL EVENTS they have every month!
The lasagna was exceptional!

Thanks for hosting tonight's event. Everyone loved the food.
Veal Milanese served as a thin piece of burnt crispy meat. So disappointed. I tried to compare the experience to the il mulino in New York but the waitress said this location is the original and the others are franchised. Maybe she didn't realize I knew the brothers from years ago. Nice try. Sadly I was expecting the true Il Mulino dining experience.
Wonderful service from Sophia. Food was excellent
House salad, calamari and meatballs to start with were fine, 2 random doughy bread balls sat alongside the meatballs were an odd accompaniment but whatever, then the mains came along and it all went downhill. Aubergine parmigiana was nothing like many of the places that I have enjoyed this dish, the aubergine was layers of breaded aubergine which made the dish spongy and quite frankly awful. It was also served with spaghetti, which in my eyes are 2 dinners, I am not a large person and don't want to be. So didn't want either of my 2 dinners on one plate. Both my daughters had lasagne which seemed fine but my husbands pizza was soggy and oddly the caramelised onions tasted powdery on his beef pizza. All in all it wasn't good. On the one plus side, our young make server( didn't get his name), was very polite and professional.
My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. Best Italian food in Fort Lauderdale.
