A five star wouldn't even equate to the incredible experience my husband and I had here last night. This is one of those intimate Italian restaurants you find in romance movies. It's clean and well kept - and has a touch of kitschy art to give the place personality. The ambiance might be a hit but it comes to life because of the owners who treat their guests with incredible hospitality - remaining attentive and generous. They care about their little gem & that is what makes this place what it is. That being said - I could not recommend the Short rib & Risotto enough. Perfectly salted & melts in your mouth. Amazing. We also noted the grilled octopus was cooked to perfection - probably the best we've ever had out. We also ordered the Pear Fagotini which is one of my favorite Italian dishes- & this also was the best I've ever had. Dish sizes are perfect. We enjoyed every single thing we ordered. Go here. I promise you will never forget it.

Great small mom and pop shop. Great meal, dessert and wine choices. It's an Italian deli/gourmet establishment during the day and you can see a they have to offer because you're literally having dinner in the shop!

We cannot remember the last time we ate somewhere the food not only lived up to the hype but exceeded all expectations. The owners were gracious and very proud. The food was exceptional and the dessert was the best thing I’ve put in my mouth in a long time!

Second time around and it's still as good as the first time I came. I got the Stone Crab Pasta with Pink sauce and it's it the most flavorful dish I've gotten in a long time. The quality of the food and service is unmatched. 10/10

The most amazing hosts. We started our evening with friends who recommended a great spot to eat and wow this was amazing! Very grateful for the hospitality and the amazing food this humble abode serves.

Truly authentic Italian food. Served in a small family owned setting. Attention to detail is appreciated. Room for improvement in wine service.

I was invited to a parmigiano wheel dinner that included unlimited pasta (no to go boxes), antipasti, and fresh bread. I called in advance about a vegetarian version of the antipasti and was very nicely accommodated! Everything was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind. It was nice to be able to peruse the wine room and select the bottle your table wanted. I will absolutely be coming back to check out the full menu!

Il Paesano is undoubtedly my favorite dining experience in the state. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want a homemade meal, the family will take care of you. The service is unrivaled and everyone is quick to make recommendations, answer questions, and make you feel right at home. My fiancé and I have been coming here often enough that together we’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu - and you absolutely cannot go wrong! Truly one of my favorite restaurants of all time, make sure you’ve got room for dessert.

We recently had dinner at Il Paesano. The website recommended to make a reservation, so I called the day before and made reservations by phone When we arrived the nice lady and gentleman at the front of the restaurant greeted us very warmly. We were given a nice table in a semi-private room, just behind the hostess station. The menu was really varied, although not extremely large. When the lady asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, we said, just regular water...she said, the restaurant had no filtration system, so the regular water was just old yellow tap water from Fort Lauderdale. That was odd....so she offered us a bottle of still water for $3. We decided to get some wine instead. This being a market, if I wanted a bottle of wine, I had to go to the back of the market and pick the bottle I wanted...all of them were priced accordingly. I picked a nice bottle of Chianti for about $25 and it was perfect for 3 people. The food we ordered was good. I had the grilled octopus, which was good but not great....not bad....and the cauliflower appetizer...that was filling and plentiful. Our friend got the lobster ravioli and he loved it. My husband got the pesto gnocchi and he liked it as well. Overall a nice place for a nice dinner. For desset, we all shared a nice chocolate mousse that was very decadent....
