I ordered a chicken shawarma plate from this restaurant for lunch, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. It was my first time trying their food, and it did not go well. Shortly after eating, I started feeling a strong burning sensation in my stomach that lasted the entire day. It is now 3 AM, and I still haven’t been able to sleep because of the discomfort. I eventually ended up vomiting.
This was the only meal I had all day, so I’m certain the issue came from this order. I won’t be ordering from here again and wanted to share my experience in case it helps others

I love coming to Izgara! I usually stop by for lunch and always get the chicken shawarma platter — the chicken and fries are always delicious and seasoned to perfection. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had. The service is always friendly, and I really appreciate the complimentary tea at the end of the meal. Great food, great prices, and an overall wonderful experience every time!

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat. Everything is outstanding. We love the owner Mike as well and enjoy seeing him everyone we come.
I get the Lamb Shawarma almost every time.
I always wish I could eat 2! The Falafel Appetizers are also amazing.
We had moved far from this restaurant but we always look for an excuse to head this way to enjoy our favorite meal!

Such a wonderful place on all accounts. The flavors of the food, delicious and I am definitely returning. Now in my top 3 among Mediterranean style food 😋 in South Florida. The service was excellent and the venue so delightful. Definitely good for a birthday party dinner or special event. A win win!
