She was patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and happy to help, with a big smile the whole time. The food was perfectly cooked, and we loved every bite of the delicious taste. With an appealing presentation and taste, the dinner couldn't have been any better. One thing about this location is the beautiful outdoor seating with romantic lighting on the patio.Aschanti is the bomb dot com!!

One of the best dining experiences I've had in recent memory. The staff was extremely considerate and attentive, the restaurant was clean and organized neatly, and of course, the food was out of this world. I had the New York Strip & Mashed Potatoes. One of, if not the best, steak I've had in my life. The rest of my party had similarly pleasant experiences with their meal. I will most definitely be back!

What appears to be a fancy jewelry store from the roadway is actually a good restaurant, part of a small chain, that pays attention to the food it serves. Despite a hostess who seems to be an unwarranted control freak (do people need to actually be seated to wait for a table in what is a half-full restaurant?), the actual service and food quality made up for the off-putting greeting. Sitting outside because inside was simply too dark and cold, we were served outstanding appetizers (grilled artichokes and Caesar salad) and very serviceable entrees (prime rib and individual salad) by a responsive and caring wait staff. Drinks were large and well made, while food was as promised by the varied, well -chosen menu, containing a good assortment of well prepared and varied foods, even for the kiddies. A perfect spot for after Sunday church, or Saturday golf, no dress code; just a very popular restaurant that deserves repeat visits. A bit expensive, but in today's market, fairly priced for what you get.
I love J. Alexander's Redlands Grill for their quality food and great service. Their steak is our family favorite and the warm, welcoming atmosphere keeps us going back.

Alexanders, an old favorite, is now a seemingly "wannabe high end" restaurant but is only "high end " when it comes to prices. Order a salad, add an appertizer and glass of cheap wine and expect a $50 bill plus an expected $10 tip. Have the ribs and add another $14 plus tip for a $77 tab. However, the service and food have not improved at the same rate as the prices, serving up a very ambivalent bar staff that you have to beg for water and anything other then your original order including begging for a second "tiny" glass of wine. I recognize that many have raised prices but interestingly it appears the McDonalds - Alexanders have increased prices at a much more aggressive pace than the Capitol grilles etc. I'll go back to Capitol Grille, it seems like they are used to providing decent food and good service consistent of what they charge for...
