Jack Jackson has created a wonderful local restaurant! Food is always stellar and his staff is always very attentive. I would recommend anyone who want s great atmosphere to pay them a visit. We visit every time we are in Ft. Lauderdale

This was our first visit to Jackson's Prime. Ambiance was as good as at any top rated steak house. Wedge and Caesar Salads were excellent, if anything, too large! A suggestion would be to offer a side salad half size of these. The filet mignon was exceptional, as were the creamed spinach, creamed corn, and mashed potatoes. These three sides were more than enough for our table of four. Bill is an exceptional waiter who made our experience a special one.

Every time I take my family or a colleague to Jackson's the service is superb! This occasion was my daughter‘s birthday and we had Stephen as our waiter. He had the best choices of wine drinks appetizers and everything he recommend it was 100% on point perfect this is by far the best steakhouse in South Florida and not even Morton's can compare!

This is the 3rd time I have eaten at Jackson. I tell everyone they must try it. The veal melted in your mouth. I love that big bar so even if you do wait a few you have a place to hangout. Wonderful experience everytime!

Being in the business, this is a tough review to do. I have over 500 visits on Opentable so I am not a one timer. It was a good looking space though the place was half full, a slight concern on a Saturday night in high season. It started with a lack of attention from our waitress. It took a while to get menus, drinks, bread, then to order and served. Cocktails were great. For appetizers, the burrata was ok though a bit confused on presentation. The grilled Caesar lacked flavor and a substitute vinaigrette was mostly vinegar and sent back. The lobster crab cake had no flavor, little meat, mostly filler and not fully cooked or hot. The tuna tartare was not bright red ahi, a small portion above avocado and seaweed?, served with delicious homemade chips. One grilled Caesar never made it to the table and was taken off the check. Our server was not friendly nor attentive. I think they were short handed with staff. Then the entrees, lamb chops at $49 for 2 meager chops Colorado or not, overpriced and over salted with no flavor. A $39 veal chop, twice the size was delicious. Short ribs were warm served on lukewarm mashed potatoes with cold onion rings. Obviously they sat for a while. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and delicious. One of the filets was cooked well and tasty, the other was rare not medium and sent back. It was cut in half quickly recooked leaving it still red in the center and partially eaten. No one ever came to check on us and the food. Oh, the 2 veggies, string beans and Brussels sprouts were great, not the fries Water glasses were filled only when empty. As we finished up, a manager came by smiling with a thumbs up and I said honestly no, and this is why. Without asking, she offered to take 3 entrees off the menu and free dessert though never saw her again. They changed servers at this point. The desserts were just OK, the creme brûlée served in like soup bowl with torched sugar. Overall, very disappointing based on the reviews.

Our waiter was pleasant but no conversation or even emotion didn't make us feel very welcome My husband didn't get the steak he ordered and the waiter insisted was the right one he then realized it was not the right cut of meat

We visit Fort Lauderdale every winter and each year we dine at Jackson's. We have thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience every year and this year was no exception. The service, food, ambiance and attentiveness were all excellent!!! Will return next year!!!

A bit disappointed in our most recent visit to Jackson's Prime. Service was efficient but not particularly friendly. Food was ok but not great. Shared BLT wedge was good, but crab and lobster cake was definitely not lump crab as advertised and not even a hint of lobster. Other diners ordered strip steak and scallops which they enjoyed. As usual, the noise level was high. Overall, food was good, but overpriced and service was efficient but not five star.

We had a great meal here tonight. We weren't feeling the all-you-can eat steak place and this was an amazing choice. We shared the beet salad followed by a ribeye and filet. Keep in mind, we prefer quality over quantity and tonight's meal was perfect. Thank you!

contemporary style, service is attentive. The specials were well-chosen but I went with the ribeye which was amazing. My wife had a veal marsala over noodles, portobello mushrooms and spinach which was delicious. Only drawback was that the room was noisy and made conversation a little difficult.

Our server, Steven, was excellent. The caprese salad was amazing. Everyone liked their meals accept mine. Steven did tell me how it was made, but when it came it was to charred for my liking and very salty. Steven offered to get me another meal, but I just didn't eat it because he did describe it like it came , so not his fault. It was not offered to take it off of my bill and if had been I would have said yes. Overall everything else was great.

Even though it was an extremely busy Valentines Day mealtime at Jacksons, the Lobster and Black grouper were cooked to perfection And our waiter did as good a job as possible under the circumstances....He was multitasking like a pro

The food was wonderful, and the service by Steven was terrific. I forgot my sweater there, and both our waiter and the hostess were so helpful in retrieving it and calling me. The steak was better than The Capital Grill the night before. The chocolate layer cake was amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant.
