Awesome experience. I found this hidden gem right on the runway of the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. It was such a cool experience to walk in, and you're literally right next to the runway. I got there on a Saturday around 8:30 am, and there was absolutely no wait. A lot of reviews speak of long wait times. I guess it all depends on when you get there. Early bird gets the worm as they say. Breakfast was good. The food was good. It's not great, but it's good enough to come back again and try other items. The other party did not enjoy the croissants. I enjoyed the Banyan breakfast and the cappuccino. Delightful. The service was excellent. My server was Julian, and he was awesome. Love the fact that they serve Mimosas as well. All in all, it is a great place for everyone, especially if you enjoy planes like me. A must go if you have kids. They will love seeing all the planes and helicopters landing and taking off while you enjoy a nice meal.

Located conveniently outside the airport, this café offers an average selection of food that feels reminiscent of a mom-and-pop diner. While the dishes aren’t particularly memorable in taste or presentation, the coffee and lattes stand out, especially with the fun touch of rock candy on a stick for sweetness.

The real draw here is the view: you can watch planes take off, land, and taxi up close, making it a unique spot to relax before or after a flight. Service is consistently excellent; the staff is friendly and attentive, which really enhances the experience. While the food may not impress, the combination of great coffee, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes this café a worthwhile stop.

I grew up in the 50's and our main entertainment, as we were poor, was a trip to the greater Pittsburgh Airport to watch the planes take-off and land. Cheap entertainment for a bunch of kids. The runway Cafe, apart from the great breakfast and lunch offerings, gives me that same thrill. Just on a smaller scale.

The vegetable omelette was very good! The server is fantastic! Love the view of Airplanes and Jets taking off and arriving. My only complaint is the wait. Maybe if possible, expand the restaurant. Reservation is only during the week. A must try!!! ☀️

Great little hideaway for a nice brunch with a view of the airport. No reservations are taken so be prepared to wait at least 20 -30 mins for a seat. I arrived at 1pm. The food was good I had the French toast , scrabbled eggs, sausage and bacon. The portion was plentiful . The mimosa with pomegranate was a nice twist to your ordinary mimosa . My server was pleasant. Definitely will be back.

Worst chicken and waffles ever, dry and spongy. The food is over priced and boring. It was cool to watch the planes tho.

Parking: Shared parking with other hanger bays but easy to find restaurant from parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Large glass doors and windows so the kids could see all planes and helicopters in motion! The chicken tenders and fries were very fresh and flavorful!
