Great upscale atmosphere with not astonishing prices, it is a great experience, and Skyler was awesome and passionate about his career there.

I've been here multiple time and always have a great meal. Excellent cheese plate and interesting wines

We had our first dinner there after its rating online. welcoming, waiter service i.e. attentive, were good. it was a cold day but door could not be closed to accommodate patrons, (some sort of hazard) which was very strange, never mind one is cold or food gets cold quickly. i will give the chef credit for an excellent tuna tartar but 30.00 for an appetizer? one should have been told. Before we could say cheers to each other the appetizers were there. Before we could finish our second drink, dinner was there. let me put it this way, we were seated at 6:15 and by 7:05 it was ALL OVER. IT WAS MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY!!!! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. We did not make that ruin our night, we went over to Oyster Grill and had a wonderful time. Here is my thing, if there is a "potential hazard" correct it, don't explain that to your customers. I thought Florida is a slow paced State, Not everyone is in a rush to swallow food, we sometimes go out to enjoy ourselves. BRING BACK SOME "CLASS" TO THIS WORLD. BTW oysters and the sauce were Excellent!!!

Great place for expensive lunch. The food was tasty though the truffle fries were limp and greasy. Filet Mignon was slightly undercooked for my order but delicious.Dessert was amazing. I will post a photo of my crème brulé.The waiter, Ed B, was exemplary. The absolute pinnacle to which a waiter should be measured. He was knowledgeable, attentive and invisible.Ed B is the reason I am giving for stars instead of three because I felt the entrée price was a bit much for a lunch crowd.

Incredible meal! Ate there while on vacation and it was the best meal I've had in a long time! Great service by Michael. Food was great and cooked perfectly. Donut pudding dessert was amazing! Yes.... DONUT pudding!

This is our 5 or 6th time to Johnny V's and the best by far. It has always been a great time with great food and service. On this occasion, we had out of town friends and my 2 kids. Our waiter (Michael) was excellent (if I could find a way a word to further express our gratitude and satisfaction I would use it). Michael was superb and had great recommendations, was of great help with the kids and having the bar prepare a drink to my specs. The meal was great and the experience was great for us and for our out of town friends who complimented our choice and had great things to say about the meal and the service. Thanks!

The restaurant itself is charming and on lovely Las Olas. We have dined there a few times previously over the years and I must say we were much more impressed at the time than this past visit. For the price, the food was just so-so. $30 for a vegetarian plate, which was only side items (which are $10 each) was ridiculous. Duck was flavorless and over cooked. The "whole" lobster was a tiny tail. Wine averaged at least $15 a glass for basic vintages. Service was attentive. Doubt we will return with so many other options in same area.

Great place for dinner - both outstanding service and exceptional food. The cheese menu offers great variety and the Drunken Goat cheese was very memorable. The entrees we ordered, the bone-in pork chop and the NY strip were quality cuts of meat and cooked to perfection. If you can, you might want to split an entrée as the servings are very large. Looking forward to the next time we're in Fort Lauderdale and once again eating at Johnny V.

We were there to celebrate my birthday with a handful of my friends and we had the most amazing time. Food was delicious, service was superb. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We'd definitely be back soon.

Food and ambience were exceptional. We had Duck and Mahi Mahi and it couldn't have been prepared better. Our waiter was also excellent. The only reason why I am giving only two instead of five stars was the comment of one of the employees that brought the food. He advised me that the plate was as hot as my fiancée and I should be carful touching it. In a restaurant like Johnny V, I would have expected manners and not some waiter hitting on my company or trying to be inappropriately funny.

Very nice quaint restaurant. The waiter did not rush us and allowed us to enjoy our time. The food was presented well and it was delicious. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Service was the worst I've experienced in my professional travels in the last 20 years. Server said I wasted his time asking about foods that I have allergies. The manager waited on my table after the server's tyrate. However, the manager never apologized once and didn't offer the table even a complementary drink. I should have walked out when the server bullied me, but I did not. I will not let this happen to me again at Johnny Vs. I will not be back.
