We dined here for breakfast. The food was mediocre at best. The eggs looked beautiful but tasted as though they were from the box, powered. My bacon was hard, to the point in that I could not eat it. Also, the food arrives somewhat cold. The staff was really nice, I just wasn’t impressed.
On a return visit to Las Olas Blvd we needed some refreshment. We headed to La Bonne Crepe now a different name since our last visit here, offering French cuisine. It was a great experience with impeccable service and varied menu. All four of us really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant and is good value and highly recommended. One downside the toilets need refreshing.
It was pleasant experience the service was excellent the food was good, but not as excellent as it used to be! The desert was very good and very generous portions !
We used to come over to Las Olas blvd just to eat here. The food has seriously gone downhill. We were so disappointed in the crepes. Not at all the way they used to make them. The seafood crepe was not good at all. The sauce was bland and anything but creamy. The filling was a sad copy of the past as was the crepe itself. The calamari rings were like rubber. We will not return.
Breakfast with friends, cold coffee, salty eggs Benedict. Spinach not fresh… tasted like canned spinach and hollandaise sauce salty. Would not go back. Perhaps their crepes are what we should have ordered.
I went there with my friend. We ordered the Arugula salad and I added on the seared tuna with sesame. As an appetizer we ordered the escargot. We also ordered white wine. First I have to say their portion sizes are so generous. They piled on the escargot. And everything was so delicious. My friend loved the salad dressing so much. The service was great despite being busy. I seriously dream about this salad.
I used to come to this bistro on Los Alos with my wife before we had kids. This was the first time we brought my children and everyone had a great meal. The manager was kind enough to allow us to order Croque Monsieur for the kids, which was technically not on the menu. The crepes were fabulous - both for an entree and decedent dessert. The food was great and we plan to return!
Waitress didn’t seem over keen on our English accents. We were the only table not to be given water as a matter of course, nor were we offered any condiments or jellies. We weren’t checked on to see if we needed anything else or if everything was ok. Coffee was undrinkable and home fries were almost raw. Eggs Benedict was ok but spinach tasted of fish. Poor quality of ingredients in Omelette and filling hadn’t been pre cooked. Overall not a great experience. Wouldn’t go back.
Used to be great but now it’s just mediocre. Maybe not even. I had some chicken concoction that was so salty I couldn’t eat it. My husband got the onion soup. He said it was cold and gummy. Then he had the beef which was tough. This was such a good restaurant before it changed to new owners. Such a pity. Maybe that’s why it was nearly empty for dinner on a Thursday. Not returning.
We showed up without a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was good.

Excellent food and service. Chef came out to see if everything was good. Highly recommend. We had the crepes for desert and they were the best that I’ve ever had.
Let me tell you.....Ive been going here for years.....the haters on here must have an ax to grind....A true show of any successful restaurant is usually an Owner that participates in attendance at all tables......He is awesome !! I actually mistakenly ordered off the Sunday brunch menu on Thursday and he came out and said.....we will make it happen and did.....This place is great !!
I has an outside table for breakfast. Good for people--watching. Busy place, inside and outside. Beautiful weather. Local and tourist diners. I started off with a scrambled egg crepe. Then I had a desert crepe. Lots of good food. Meter parking in rear public lot.
Happened upon this diamond in the rough! Food is wonderful and the service is excellent. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant if you want a unique experience. Bon Appetit!!!!
Food is awful: overcooked and overpriced. Service is awful. Place is almost empty and wait time for server or food is endless. Highly NOT recommended
