Kavasutra Kava Bar Cypress Creek

I’ve visited quite a few kava bars across South Florida, and unfortunately, my experience at the Cypress Creek Kavasutra has consistently been one of the most uncomfortable. The atmosphere could be great, but it’s completely overshadowed by the behavior of the manager, Ben.
On several visits, I’ve witnessed and experienced interactions where Ben made inappropriate or overly familiar comments—especially toward my friends—which left us feeling awkward and uneasy. His presence alone tends to shift the energy in the room in a way that doesn’t feel welcoming. On top of that, he’s unreasonably pushy when it comes to ordering drinks. I’ve seen people asked to leave or clearly made to feel unwelcome just for not purchasing enough in a short period of time. It creates a pressure-filled environment that’s the opposite of what a kava bar should be. That said, the one bright spot is Debbie, one of the bartenders. She’s warm, kind, and makes you feel at home in a way that almost makes up for everything else. If the management followed her example, this place could be something special.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, but until there’s a change in how guests are treated, I’d recommend checking out other local kava spots that truly embody the community vibe.

Very quick service and great kava

been going to this place for 2years till this one barmen Ben almost crashed the door of the restroom because me and my boyfriend went there together to wash our hands and didn’t even lock the door,after a minute we came out and said sorry to all his yelling,this guy just continued yelling and said that we gotta go,i could understand his complaint but not this crazy behaviour,hopefully he will find the peace and we will comeback there one day,otherwise the main management needs to talk about customer service more,thank you

I've had kratom several times from other places, but unfortunately, this experience was a disappointment (aside from the bartender being nice). When I asked the bartender about the strongest drink option, he recommended one that cost $25. I was fine with paying the price if it was as good and strong as he made it out to be but it didnt deliver.

I finished the entire drink and felt no effects. Additionally, the texture was chalky, and the color was gross looking. Dissapointed and dissatisfied. 🥲

Lovely atmosphere with friendly people. Staff is always great and on top of that best teas and shells I've had. Would recommend to anyone.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Kava Sutra in Cypress Creek! The service was amazing from start to finish. The entire staff was incredibly inviting and awesome, making me feel right at home. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers and want everyone to have a great experience. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to have a good time in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere!

The service was so amazing as it was my first time there, I took all the bartenders recommendations and the people around us were so nice, I mean I see why people hang out here. Ben is an amazing and on kava and Kratom very knowledgeable

Ben and Nick are the best. Always a blast when they’re behind the bar. Great specials and amazing environment. Best place to hang after a long day.

1st time trying Kava and it was an amazing experience. Lemmon was super knowledgeable and educational regarding all the products especially for being my friend and I’s first time trying Kava. Made my first time memorable and comfortable. Definitely THE place to go to!
