Definitely is now my favorite speakeasy in Fort Lauderdale. We’ve been trying a new one each date night. Been to a few like No Mans Land and Hidden speakeasy. This by far was amazing. Reservations are a must. Arrive for your reserved time because they gave a time limit and I can understand why. Melissa, Melanie and Justin are the most amazing mixologists! They asked us what type of drinks we like and came over with the most delicious drinks!! The food is on point as well… cornbread and brisket! Yes please! Fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Yum!

The food was salty, the waiter unfriendly and they are abusive with the reservation money. I had been there before when the reservation was $10 per person, they also charge taxes, service fee on a reservation. On the website it indicates that the 20.00 go to your tab, I was charged 51.80 to reserve a table for two, when bill came they only credited 40.00 of the 51.80. I wouldn't normally care but I dont appreciate being robbed 11.80 for no reason, on top of the fact that the lasagna was salty ( we couldn't eat much of it) and the server was standoffish, for some reason we were not worthy to be there, he used one word answers and questions, barely checked on us, never refilled water, he offered us a box for the lasagna, I politely told him we wouldn't be taking as it was very salty he said sorry and walked away with plate. When the check arrived to my surprise only 40.00 from what I paid was returned, I ask another waiter that some of the money was missing from the reservation, she told me that the 11.80 was a service fee, I refuted that why should there be a service fee to reserve, she got the manager and the manager told me that they had changed the fee from 10 to 20 because people were canceling and they were losing money, and the service fee was to cover the server for tips if you cancel reservation. WHY SHOULD THE CUSTOMER PAY FOR YOUR BAD BUSINESS MODEL, IF PEOPLE ARE CANCELING YOU SHOULD EVALUATE WHAT IS WRONG, PLUS STEALING THE TIP UPFRONT LEADS TO SNOBBISH SERVERS THAT FIND TWO ETHNIC WOMEN UNAMUZING AS YOUR SERVER WAS A COMPLETE DIFFERENT PERSON TO THE WHITE PEOPLE NEXT TO US, I REALIZED THE SERVER WAS CAPABLE OF BEING NICE BY LOOKING TO THE TABLE NEXT TO US. I left hungry, robbed and angry at myself for picking this restaurant.Edit*****Hello Ryan this is a response to your review, you were not at the table nor were you served by your employee, he wasn’t pleasant with us and the fact that the way he treated us from the beginning didn’t open the door to feel comfortable complain about the food to him when it arrived salty as he was already acting like we were a bother. I didn’t say that it was salty to my taste, I said it was salty hence why we didn’t eat it and why I wasn’t taking box home with it. I am not sure if you wanted me to make a scene, so you realized that I was complaining. I find it very sad that you chose to instead of offering to investigate what happened with the server, you accuse me of being a troll online finding “temporary enjoyment by releasing frustrations on the review”, and minimizing the way he treated us and made both of us feel, my mother doesn’t go out much and she wanted to leave while we were there because he made her feel unwelcomed. Regarding the comment about your staff, I never mentioned the restaurant or any of your staff, I was speaking of the behavior of your server towards us in comparison to the way he treated the other tables. I did try to address my issues with the bill while I was there, I did request to speak to you, the explanation you gave and give about how you guys are charging the reservation and applying to the bill is very confusing. I wasn’t going to follow up with how your server made us feel because I felt that it was going to be taken in the context of me trying to get out of the bill. I did ask you that if the money was going to the server because I was going to leave him some tip, but not the usual amount I leave after the way he served us. You mentioned that you had to raise the fee because you had a bunch of empty tables because people didn’t show up, If the person made it to the restaurant is sitting, there and ordered food why not credit the full amount to the bill and let the customer pay whatever is the difference? For the record you are the first and only place I have left a bad review, and I don’t enjoy doing it, but the whole experience was bad that day and I didn’t felt heard.

I don’t know what I expected before I walked in. My party got there after the kitchen closed so we didn’t try the food, but the atmosphere and the drinks were exquisite. One of my friends ordered a drink they didn’t like and the bartender (Melissa) was kind enough to make her a new one, which she created her on own. In fact, she made us all custom drinks because we were indecisive and they were AMAZING! She guessed our flavors so well. One of my party even asked for pickle juice(which they don’t carry at the bar) so Melissa went out of her way to go get some Fresh juice from the kitchen. As for the atmosphere, Melissa let us queue music and she was a great person to talk to. If you ever go and Melissa is your bartender, know you’ll have a great night ♡ 300/10

We went on a Saturday night, reservations at 8, party of 6. We were enjoying our time and didn’t realize food would be limited. We attempted to order and discovered that 70% of the menu was sold out. It was disappointing to say the least. Half the table couldn’t eat dinner and the bday couldn’t be celebrated as there were no desserts left either.Better communication would have helped alleviate this.

This is a great little place and experience. You actually have to check in at the Fort Liquordale liquor store and get a card with a combination on it. After you enter the combination in the massive safe door you are able to proceed to the speakeasy. There you will find some pretty unique drinks and some pretty awesome food. The steak tartare was by far my favorite. It is definitely quality and the flavors are amazing. We tried quite a few other apps and they were all on point. This is a place worth checking out for sure.

Parking: Parking is very limited so be sure to get there early.

*DINER BEWARE!* Definitely memorable. This place was the worst service I have ever experienced in my life and food was mediocre at best. There are so many great options in Fort Lauderdale, do not waste your time coming here.
