I honestly have no idea how this place has almost 5 stars. The only thing half way decent was the fried oysters, but the fries that came with them were the limpest, clearly kept under a heat lamp for 3 hours fries I've ever had. The lobster was mushy, clearly frozen or grade b (probably both). The snow crab was so shriveled and stick to the shell that I could barely get any meat out. The potatoes are boiled THEN FROZEN then thawed and served which creates the most disgusting kinda grayish watery mush you've ever seen inside the skin. The corn was halfway decent. I understand there's supposed to be garlic in the sauce and I love garlic but this was so overpowering is burned my throat. The worst part was the eggs... let me tell you something. The last thing you want to bite into with a funny taste is an egg. my husband said his chicken po-boy was decent. Also I ordered a side of rice and didn't get it. Overall completely disgusted and would warn anyone who has any level of standard for seafood especially to stay far far away. Edit: I called back to let them know Of the food quality issue and they said I can come back to have it remade (which would do nothing for Me since the preparation wasn't the issue, it was the quality of food.) or there's nothing they can do. I did not want another round of frozen garbage, so I'm taking the $100 loss.

First trying to opening the door feels like you're in a tug of war.. You have to lean back and pull-hard!! Guys repair the door. It almost seems like the door is locked. Finally entered and there's 20 booths and 3 tables available-place is empty except for one table. We weren't greeted by the waitress who noticed us enter. So after a few minutes we sat ourselves. We sat a booth or two away from the occupied table, as there was only ONE waitress. When the waitress finally comes over to us. She greets us and says we can't sit there. Asked if the table was reserved she says she has a better booth for us. Wow a few booths back-no special scenery view just a few booths back. We moved. Deciding to continue and dine-but honestly customer service can really ruin an experience. We ordered Crab Rangoon which came in an odd choice for a serving dish-though it was unique it was odd. A rattan bike in which you weren't able to see the food and felt like you were pulling a prize out of a hat.. The Rangoon was good . Don't remember the names of the dishes we ordered as they didn't leave an impression. Won't be going back.

Very tasty and friendly staff, also very clean. The grilled oysters and grilled clams were excellent although a bit salty. The grilled shrimp were ok, but no actual grilled flavor. The veggies with the shrimp were crisp and delicious. The least impressive was the shrimp roll. Cheese filled with hatch chilies and only 2 small shrimp as well as a mismatched sweet and sour sauce. Overall a good experience. Will return soon.

Food is amazing. The grilled oyster and scallops are delicious, closest to New orleans style found here in fl. Seafood boils are cooked and flavored to perfection. The snow crab meat was so tender and soft, I reheated my leftovers in the microwave and they were still soft and juicy the next day.

OMG, best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. We recently got back from NOLA and this brought me back. Lisa was amazing for our waitress. Chargrilled oysters were amazing. Got 1/2 dozen blue crabs and geez were they jumpo.

We saw this restaurant while driving on A-1a. Looked at the reviews and decided to try it. Some of the reviews complained about the service. Our server was Alex and he was friendly helpful and attentive. We are hard core crab lovers, the Dungeness crabs were AMAZING. We got them in the mixed sauce and medium. They were perfectly spicy. If anyone remembers the Dungeness crabs at Joes Crab Shack, they are similar. They were out of oysters so we did not try the char grilled oyster appetizer. We got the fried soft shelled crabs and they were very good. Loved this restaurant . Will definitely be back.

Wow! What a spectacular find!! Pet friendly outdoor patio, covered, well lit and comfortable seating. The service (we had server Lisa) was fantastic! But come for the food, the gumbo was great, the grilled scallops were outstanding I can't put into words how incredibly delicious. Fried shrimp basket great generous portions, shrimp perfectly battered served with really good Cajun fries and the calamari great too! This is a must try!! We will be back.....Soon!

Yummy food with an unique experience! We ordered raw and chargrilled oysters and ended up ordering a second round of each as well as a shrimp basket! We then followed up with the coconut shrimp which was AMAZING! Our waitress was polite but as with many restaurants, it seemed they were short-staffed. Overall, the food was tasty and we look forward to returning!

the restaurants by the beach were very busy and could not even find parking so we drove and found this gem. It looks like a chain style that we usually dont do but we dont have this kind of place where we live. (Ohio). The two workers were really nice and I ordered The Dozen grilled Oysters and am I glad I did. Amazing, never had anything like it. The gumbo was also perfectly flavored. Do watch out for a shell or two because it is made with real seafood. Chicken with vegetables that was like a Fahita grill. If we ever see another Mr Q Crab house in our travels we will be back.

They are a rip off. Ordered $250 order to be delivered. 2 lbs of king crab legs. Didnt even get 1 lb of crab legs. Ordered 2 bowls of gumbo, and only got 1 bowl. When we called, they said it was because the crab legs are too expensive and wouldn't do anything about it. Total rip off. Highly recommend going elsewhere!
