New River Cafe and Bakery

I couldn’t be happier with my cake here at New River Cafe and Bakery. It was exactly what I requested, beautifully detailed, and beyond my expectations. The customer service was just as amazing as the cake itself, everyone was so friendly, attentive, and professional. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. Thank you to Yeni, Sabrina and the entire staff for making my celebration extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I stopped out for a coffee break in the afternoon. The staff brewed me a fresh cup of coffee. The coffee is very good. The scenery is right by the river with boats.

Our cake was not only beautiful—it was delicious! Sabrina was a joy to work with and completely understood our vision. Each layer had a unique flavor, and our guests are still talking about how good it was. She even made sure it held up perfectly in the Florida heat. A true professional and artist!

First off, they wanted to hide somebody about a month ago that poured coffee on me and my service animal. And today, I tried to get a cup of ice for my service. Animal and they tried to charge me a dollar for a cup of ice when they don't charge a customer or a thing through a cup of ice. I think a couple of advice was for my Service animal.

Simply the best! My favorite bakery in Fort Lauderdale

Me and my girlfriend came in for lunch after scouting several coffee places on Las Olas. The food and drinks were high quality for a reasonable price along with the stunning view of the river. Definitely will be returning.

Good food, good service! Nothing to complain about, sweet view of the canal as well.

Went for a quick snack before a big dinner date tonight. My wife and I split the prosciutto Panini. It was perfect. Took it go and sat out with two ice coffee and sat in the sunny side watching the yachts in jungle Queen traveling through the canal.

Ambiance is nice in a great area. The service was a bit bossy and rushed. I was in line and was asked what I wanted before I had a chance to see the menu that sits at the counter. When I said I didn’t know she skipped behind me. Nicely, the gentleman behind me said I was first. I scrambled and just picked something, a flat white. I waited about five minutes before sitting somewhere outside. The coffee COMPLETed BURNED my tongue. I’ve never been handed such scolding hot drink before ever. I get that you need speed in a job like that but there was only one person behind me, I could have had 30 seconds to process the menus. Maybe they should have a menu listed somewhere besides the counter

We were taking a tour in Ft Lauderdale so decided to pick up a sandwich to take on our Riverboat Cruise. The bread looked so delicious. We ordered the Prosciutto and Fig. I took two bites and quit eating it. The meat was so fatty and tough that I couldn't even chew it. I was so looking forward to a good sandwich. Very disappointing - 10.99 wasted. The service was so slow.

Cute spot on the water ... busy, but super efficient service ... and probably the best coffee we've had in our almost a month in Las Olas! Their sandwich case showcases some huge sandwiches, while their bakery items are also impressive. Ordering from
Erica made our visit even better! Right on the river walk, this is definitely our new favorite coffee spot!
