New River Pizza & Fresh Kitchen

I like trying new places to eat and I really enjoy Italian food. And so I decided to get a calzone from this place New River Pizza and when I walked in it was quite, nobody in the place and the guy behind the counter was just on his phone like whatever. Asked about picking up my order and he was blah OK fine. I took my lunch back to work smells good. The tomato sauce was not good had a old taste like its been sitting out for a while. The calzone it self was heavy on the riocottia cheese and light on the mozzarella cheese. Sorry but there was no balance of flavor. Sorry but I won't be coming back.

I used to order from here at least once a week. I moved 6 months ago and it was excellent. NOT ANYMORE!!! tonight i was in the neighborhood so i decided to order.

Just ordered two pizzas and some boneless wings, the pizzas were so dry and overcooked I will never order again. The Boneless wings were pretty much the consistency of beef jerky. When I called the chef was extremely rude and said it would be 1.5 hours before they could bring a new order because they only have one driver. Not the same New river as before

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE, even worse food. Photos don't even do it justice. This place must have a blind chef or something, but the guy on the phone offered me 20% off for my next order.... Um hello??!?! What do we do about this order? I have friends and family over and we threw $80.00 worth of food right in the trash. But we managed to get some photos for YELP APP review prior to... BEWARE!!! Order from another place and save yourself the anger of being left hungry and money thrown out.

So this just happened… I'm waiting an hour for what I thought was going to be my pizza delivered and I get a phone call from them explaining they're not delivering to my area at the moment and I can come pick it up. Excuse me? That's what you tell me after an hour? Then they proceed to tell me never mind we will deliver it. Why the hell would you put me through that? So I canceled my order and I thought that was extremely unprofessional and not good business and I won't be ever ordering from this place again

I can't review the food because I have been waiting an hour and a half for it to be delivered. Can't imagine it will be hot when it arrives.

Very friendly people, good price, happy people and very good pizza.

Delivering pizza and pipe bombs since 2018!

We ordered from this place on a whim. And we were not disappointed! The squash and carrot soup so delish! The cheese sticks were huge and the marinara so fresh! I think an Italian grandmother made it. The pizza was really good too. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because we ordered ground meat and got seasoned meat which my husband doesn't eat. The description on the menu doesn't say anything about the seasoning. Otherwise this place is on the mark!!!

New River Pizza is the best! I waited until my second delivery to write a review, and this second order was was just as great as the First time I ordered. This is the ONLY Pizza Delivery I will ever order from in Fort Lauderdale from here on out. (they have a nice little dining room as well)

I would tease my friend constantly that he couldn't have a really good pizza because he is gluten free. Well he turned the tables on me and picked up only gluten free pizzas and didn't tell me. I said - why is the crust different. I love this. What did you order I have to get it again? And he said that it's gluten free. It was amazing!!

We were visiting family and saw great reviews. But I didn't think it would be this great! This is a cute tiny old. Fashioned pizza place. Nothing fancy or special. And then the food! I never had fig and pig Pizza and I was shocked at how fantastic it tasted. Can't wait to go back.

The catering is terrific. I made a luncheon for my book club. We had 6 different salads set up like a salad bar and they were all great. Hummus wraps were very popular as was the grilled shrimp and pasta. Everyone was very happy and we decided we were going to get salads at all of out meetings. All of the food was fresh and delicious and delivered on time. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Met the owner last night at the grand opening of the liquor store next door and he’s a great fella. Let me tell you this combination is perfect, incredible selection of beer, liquor and wine next door paired with so much more than great pizza. They were sampling their eggplant meatballs and pasta salad and they were delicious. The menu has so much more than great pizza but don’t be fooled, their pizza is some of the best I’ve had in the area. They’ve totally revamped everything and it’s definitely worth a try! They’re our go to pizza place and I can’t wait to check out the rest of the menu! Super fast delivery and reasonable charge too!
