I am only rating this 1 star as a warning to any AMEX holders who want to use their RESY credit. The way that the resort codes this restaurant, you will not get it. I tried to resolve it with AMEX, but they said it is up to the resort. OCEAN2000 isn't even charge it comes up as PELICAN GRAND BEACH RESORT. Before you ask, no, we didn't stay there. We only chose that restaurant to use RESY. Besides that, the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent, and I recommend it to anyone!

Just amazing
We celebrated both an anniversary and a birthday here on Saturday, January 3rd, and the experience was exceptional. The outdoor setting is absolutely beautiful—the live music perfectly set the vibe and complemented the ambiance without overpowering conversation.
Our server, Matthew, truly elevated the evening. He was highly experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and gracious—standing out well above the rest of the team. We’ve dined here before with other servers, and none compare. Matthew offered just the right amount of banter, with excellent social awareness and a natural sense of when to engage and when to step back. If you dine here, request him—your experience will be noticeably elevated.
The craft cocktails were excellent, with a wide variety and very reasonable pricing for a Fort Lauderdale oceanfront location. The salad was outstanding, and dinner overall was very solid and well executed.
A beautiful setting, great food, and exceptional service. Highly recommend.

The view is what made this brunch tolerable.
Food was cheap quality and poorly executed. The service was slow and unattentive. We literally called the restaurant to ask for our waiter. Table was uncleared.
Extremely disappointing for any brunch and for Christmas it was just acceptable. Would have had same quality at Golden Corral.
I can go on if management would like to call I can give more details.

Breakfast and dinner are two completely different experiences.
Starting with the good- dinner is pricey but the food is fantastic and the attention to dietary needs is exceptional. Our server, Mike, was just fantastic. It was nice to eat overlooking the beach while warm and toasty from heat lamps on a cool Florida night. We enjoyed our meal, and while it was a splurge, it was worth it.
Now breakfast.....breakfast service is atrocious. We had one standout server- Samantha- she was wonderful and as attentive as she could be on a busy morning. Everyone else was like a deer in headlights, like it's their first day on the job. Menu items aren't served as shown, for example, our egg allergic family member was given an egg that was not part of the meal. Capers and other ingredients listed on menu completely missing from the dish. Bizarre. Service is SLOW- so if you're having breakfast, go early. Trust me!
The manager lady is incredibly lovely. Lunch service is a bit slow, but consistent and friendly.

It is located in Pelican Grand Beach resort, they have valet parking. I was there for a NYE dinner. We were pleasantly received by hosted and seated indoors. It was a cold night I FLL we found out later they had outdoor heaters but still enjoyed our night in our booth table. We were having a 5 course dinner everything was delicious and we ordered a bottle of white wine. They had lived entertainment, a guitar player that played over 4 hours many great songs. And a fire dancer but only on the outdoors. To start we had oyster and soup with lobster appetizers i had lam lollipops for entree I had the waygu filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. To end we had a pannecota garnished with fresh berries. We did get our sorbet after the entree would had liked before entree. Nonetheless it was delicious with sugared ginger. This was a memorable night and enjoyed every bit of it. Things to improve serve dessert with dessert spoon.

Had NYE dinner at this restaurant. The food was quite good especially for a prix fixe menu. The service was also very good. The atmosphere was definitely lacking and there was no champagne offered which was advertised in the price of the event. Also valet was $30 even though the restaurant advertised $5 valet and the sign out front literally says $10 for 2 hour parking....we were there for 2 hours and 10 minutes and paid $30, complete scam. Overall, I wouldn't go back to be honest. There's better restaurants serving very similar food all along the beach.

My NYE experience. No service at all. Sat there from 10:15pm on our reserved time, nobody came to our table for thirty minutes. My wife and I left after 30 minutes. No one came to our table once to even offer us water or bread. Never had a chance to order when we were invisible sitting there. Thank god we didn't pay $150 per person paying for something we don't have any real experience. No entertainment. Thank god we left. The girl working on the front was also like invisible when we left. Will never come back again.

Waited 20 minutes to order coffee, and water then no refills along with the constant moving of chairs from the help around one long table across the floor. Never again!!!!

Nice over the holidays to have a restaurant open and able to accommodate quickly with a marvelous ocean view and a good varied menu.

Definitely one of the best kept secrets on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Enjoyed a delightful breakfast with an ocean view. I had the traditional egg Benedict. Almost ordered the huevos rancheros one of the very knowledgeable servers , I think her name was taliyah highly recommended that dish. Overall, very pleasant experience will definitely be back.

I would never return here for brunch again. We wanted to try something different this year, and in the past I had heard good things about this buffet, so I made a reservation for Christmas Day. After booking, I tried several times to call the establishment to get information about what would be served, as there was nothing available online. After three attempts with no response, I stopped pursuing it—thinking, how bad could a Christmas buffet at a resort really be? Unfortunately, it was very bad.
The food selection was completely subpar and oddly mismatched for a Christmas brunch. Mac and cheese sat next to dried-up eggs Benedict with no hollandaise sauce in sight. Nothing looked fresh, appetizing, or thoughtfully prepared. I genuinely couldn’t find a single thing to eat. In the end, we had to order food from the bar outside instead. We had reservations at 12:15, yet the buffet looked as though it had been sitting out all day.
For Christmas, my family makes an effort to dress up when we go out. We requested a table outside, which did offer a lovely beach view, but the restaurant has no dress code whatsoever. People were seated in bathing suits without even a cover-up. I’m certainly not a prude, but there should be some level of decorum in a restaurant—especially on a holiday.
There was no holiday theme, no holiday music, and no festive atmosphere at all. Overall, the experience was bland, disappointing, and completely lacking the spirit one would expect from a Christmas brunch.

We had breakfast on the veranda. I’ll give grace for the construction work; I knew about it before choosing to eat here. The circular saw use was a bit loud, but it was only a quick startle.
The food was good but my eggs Benedict and potatoes were cold and the eggs were borderline runny even for “soft”. My husband’s omelet was a bit light on add ins, at a $1 a piece.
Waitress was friendly but a little slow on coffee/tea refills. I did appreciate the offer of a to-go coffee.
