It must be said that we will never go to this place again!!! Outback Steakhouse, Pompano BeachDuring a Sunday afternoon, my friends and I planned to meet at a certain place. Upon arrival, I informed the staff that I was accompanied by my service dog, although they didn't react positively. Nevertheless, I was allowed to sit at the table where my friends were. However, my dog became excited upon seeing them and let out a bark of joy. At that moment, the manager approached our table and threatened me with my dog's bark. This behavior was regrettable, as the manager addressed me in a rude manner, stating that if my dog barked again, I would have to leave the premises immediately.We decided not to stay for dinner at that establishment, considering that there are numerous places with friendlier and more accommodating service. Fortunately, we found an excellent alternative at J. Mark's Restaurant, where we received exceptionally friendly service, both towards me and my dog. We went out last minute around 730 8pm on a Friday evening. The place was packed but it had a great atmosphere.Our server was extremely friendly and pleasant. This was our first visit in over 20 years. *they no longer are found in Canada*My huband had a fosters beer, I had 2 of the blueberry lemonades (on vacation!), we shared a blooming onion (of course). Hubby got the chicken wings and I order a steak with mashed and a Ceasar salad.It was hot, delicious and cooked perfectly. Anytime we finished a drink or snack, someone was picking up dirty dishes on their way to the kitchen.Amazing service, very clean, super friendly and we will be back!
