My coworker had introduced me to people’s choice and let me tell you! I have been coming here for a week straight!!! The food is OUTSTANDING DELICIOUSNESS. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The food has so much flavor which is a huge plus. I leave here feeling full and satisfied. I definitely recommend EVERYONE to come and enjoy some good food.

First off this restaurant seems to not have any easily ticked off personal employed as I have witnessed over the years a few difficult patrons come in like OX on belly and leave with what they came for like a kid leaving a candy store now on this day Oct 11 2025 it must have been a carnival function in the area where as it was packed with lightly dressed painted up patrons placing orders and some regulars I did wait a little longer than usual and I had a large order aswell also the phone was ringing non stop rightfully so I witnessed true professionalism from this one lady taking orders and serving also tending to those dining in I believe her name is Kenisha treating every body she encountered with respect and grace no matter what I don't do long storytelling but this sister needs to be recognized for her awesomeness 💪🏿💯✌️

Let me start with saying Ive been ordering food from People’s Choice for years and never in my life have I experienced such horrible customer service…. I placed my order through seamless as I always do and came in to pick up. The Lady at the front with the blonde curly weave decides she want to give me a hard time all because she is not familiar with the 4 different apps you can place an order for their restaurant…. Let me also add I never seen this woman working there which is fine… I then proceed to tell her my name and what my order was because there is no order number to provide…. I also tell her what app I ordered from… This lady had the audacity to ask me what is that so I politely explained it’s one of the four option you are given to place your order through google for the restaurant… This lady then gets slick out her mouth and say you mean grubhub…. I said no I ordered through seamless then proceeded to say maybe they submitted through grub hub and I then restated the order verbatim… Instead of the lady looking at the ticket to make things go smoother she then proceeds to get smart with me like I’m a child…. I then explain that I am Pregnant with hypertension and can miscarry my baby for getting frustrated with her nonsense… This lady proceeded to give me an even harder time and sit my food on a chair while she continue with her smart remarks about her not caring about my condition and mucking me for calling on Jesus…. This is the worst service I every had and will not spend another penny with this Restaurant….
As my mom always said, “One bad apple can spoil a whole bunch.”
That made me realize why the restaurant looks like it will be closing soon and not many people come in to enjoy themselves…… Thank God I know how to cook my own authentic Jamaican food….

Had the curry goat with Rice and Pea, Junior convinced me to try that instead of white rice and I was delighted by the combo. Been looking for authentic Jamaican cuisine in south florida for a few years now and Peoples Choice did not disappoint! My wife had the butter shrimp and she gave it a 10/10

Absolutely delicious! I got the butter shrimp for my first visit. It’s a very large portion. The shrimp had the perfect bite and the veggies were fresh and crispy. I am looking forward to coming on the weekend for the jerk pork and chicken!!

Baby… this is the nastiest Jamaican cuisine I have EVER had and I’m almost 40!!! I ordered the Red Snapper with rice and peas, along with a side of plantains.First, the plantains taste burnt, then the rice was overcooked all swollen like Uncle Ben’s rice, not authentic at ALL! The snapper was just OKAY !!! I will never order from this place again, like ever. Who is the chef? A 6 year old,,, can’t be one of the Auntie’s or Pop pops from back in Jamaica!!!

The worse experience ever. The inside of the location was neat, however the walls were filthy. The atmosphere was dark and gloomy. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS BAD. The lady with the short blonde hair with the lace-front edges was our server. No one was inside the location when we got there, yet it took her a while to greet us and come to our table after was sat down. She got my order wrong and then wanted to convince me that I was wrong. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. She gave us one napkin with 3 people at the table. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. When checking out, I waiting in-front of her for about 5 minutes to answer other calls, service other people, and take other orders. She addressed me at the very end. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, She also never gave me a breakdown of my order and just told me a total. I had to ask for a breakdown of items. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Overall, we were not satisfied and I will never eat at this location again. The food... ugh. I was looking forward to having their jerk chicken and they were out, nor did they have jerk pork available. i was disappointed. I order the LUNCH SPECIAL fried chicken, THE FRIED CHICKEN WAS OLD. MEANING, IT WAS SITTING FOR A WHILE AND NOT FRIED FRESH.

Went here for the first time to hang out on a Wednesday night. Awesome oldies music, complimentary fry dumplings and salt fish. The bartenders are very attentive. Great company.. Going to be my spot in the future. ....Still the place to be on a Wednesday night
