On a major pedestrian road with thousands of people crowding restaurants, THIS is the move. Very private & secluded from the hustle of the main road, this place has everything. It is a little pricey but the food you get is great! Our servers were so attentive and kind, they were the best. Our guacamole dip was phenomenal, the truffle fried rice was a very good option too, and the dragon roll was tasty but not as filling as I hoped. For $15 maki rolls, I’d go all-in and get the Volcano roll. We got the matcha cheesecake that I will spend the rest of my life fantasizing about that dessert.
Food so good it's an experience. We had sushi- the watermelon tuna amazing-- but eggplant eel straight up blew my mind. Lettuce wraps ok, but general tsos cauliflower incredible. Wasn't able to try the tartar, but i guess that leaves something to go back for. Carrot cake was also great and massive slice. Left feeling very full and satisfied.
The other Plantas are fresh. We ordered sushi which was cold like it had been refrigerated. For the price the items should be fresh.
The food is amazing with really cool seasonal items! The place is also shockingly beautiful. My husband and I have been coming here with friends and relatives, as well as ordering take out. Always meets the highest standard!

NEW: I am soooooo disappointed in our last SEVEN experiences across FTL and WPB locations. It's been honestly so so so so disrespectful the way we have been treated. The last few times I went, I was waiting for soooo long for food while others around me came and went. Like. Literally. Came after me, and went. I mean, what is that? And that's not a holiday, it's on a regular day. Speaking of a holiday, on Valentine's Day, I called ahead because we had a late reservation and I said, "Are you sure about this time because last year, you ran out of food and I didn't get to have everything on the pre-fixe menu with a 6pm reservation" the guy assured me that they were stocked and prepared. We came for our reservation - I came 20 minutes earlier than our reservation. I had to wait in line for 20+ minutes to get a table. Then I was seated at 71 (under a tree on the end of the curb. I asked the person seating me, "am I going to be forgotten here?" She assured me that they have a server dedicated to only the outdoor tables. Some food items were already out of stock. It took us TWO HOURS to get food. And it came warm (not hot), sloppy, not made properly. Like, I paid $19 for a cheeseboard that didn't come with the pre-fixe meal and you can see how sloppy it was given to us and how poor the serving size was. Like, that's literally how it was put on our table. Is that $19 worth?? Is that really what you'd expect from eating at an upscale restaurant like planta? The udon noodles were watery when usually they're in a delicious sauce. This was water with no salt. Had to hunt through the bowl to find the noodles since there was so much water. The manager came and apologized halfway through and gave us a $50 giftcard which was nice but obviously not enough to even cover 1 person's meal and even after that, we didn't get our food for another hour. By that time, the restaurant was practically empty, and we were STILL waiting for our food. Because I'm pretty sure they forgot about us. Our server didn't even come to refill our water. If they were backed up, then you know what, I don't blame the servers or the chefs. I blame management for putting that type of stress on them.
I've pretty much decided that I'm not coming back here. I even have points but there's just no point in paying to be treated like trash.
OLD (while I still agree with how good the cake was, I will not eat there the rest of my life) : I could eat there every day for the rest of my life.
Had to coconut cake (it's a secret February special) and it was delicious!

A great place for a date, a business meeting, or a family meal. Incredible food, great atmosphere, and Mary was our server and she was the best!
I absolutely love the food at this restaurant and come back every time for this reason. However every time I come, the service is just awful. Today we waited 25 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, the time before they took an hour for the food to come out, another time there was an unexpected charge. Again the food is absolutely delicious, but beware the slow service. It happens to me every time and it can ruin the whole experience.
Edit: can't make this up, was just informed by the wait staff theyre out of half the menu including all the sushi, the only reason I came here. What a waste, this wasn't a close drive for us. GET IT TOGETHER PLANTA!

This place surprised me. I did not think I would like it, and I loved it. I am not a vegetarian, but wow, there is something for everyone. Every dish we tried, we were very impressed with. If you are in the area and you want to try something different, I would say it's a must.

Planta Ft. Lauderdale is one of my favorite locations! The atmosphere is always inviting, and the service is consistently top-notch. No matter what time of day I visit, I can always count on delicious, high-quality food and exceptional service. The consistency in both makes every experience enjoyable!

Had a pleasant experience at Planta Queen. Our server, Cherokee, made the experience even better with her recommendations on the menu. The only negative experience was that we had to wait a while for someone to seat us. The bartenders and server at the front did not acknowledge us.
Food came out quickly and every dish we tried was delicious. The menu had a lot of salivating and different dishes which will give us more reason to come back to try other dishes. We came towards the end of the night so there were a lot of dishes they ran out because they had a busy brunch. We didn’t mind this especially because Cherokee communicated with us as we sat. Try the signature dish, Udon Noodles! 11/10!

I was so looking forward to eating here, but was quite disappointed by the experience. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, beautifully decorated. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was OK, nothing special. I had been hoping for more flavor, considering the size of the plates and the prices that went with them. Was really hoping for more from such an upscale vegan restaurant.

I seriously used to be obsessed with this restaurant, but lately I feel the quality has gone down a lot. I don’t mind spending money on a nice upscale dinner, but for how small the portions are compared to the high prices, I’d at least expect the food to be amazing. My last visit, they were out of half the items on the menu. They’ve replaced the nice chopsticks and napkins with disposable ones. We ordered the crab Rangoon dip, which was not very good and brought to us with 4 chips. When we asked for more chips, they left for maybe 10 minutes and came back saying they were out. We waited for the chef to make more and then maybe 15 more minutes later they say they actually don’t have more to make and just brought us some regular tortilla chips. We were offered a free dessert to compensate, so we got the cookie. We were charged for the cookie anyways, which was also hard and not very good. Overall for how expensive our bill was, we left still hungry and disappointed in the experience.
Had a good experience first couple of times but noticed the quality of the food declined. It’s a big con since it’s a vegetarian place.
