Red Door Asian Bistro & Hibachi

The bathroom is disgusting. The sushi tastes like Publix sushi. The bartender is really trashy . for las olas this is disappointing.

Don’t eat at this place the manager that works there. He’s a scam artist. He literally told me to come through for my birthday and the dinner was going to be free. All I had to do was book a dining for hibachi make a reservation for hibachi once I did that then the dinner would’ve been free. I called them three times on my way there because I was a little bit late and before I got there to confirm that the dinner was going to be free for my birthday once I got there, I asked the waiter, which is the guy. Hey the dinner is free correct OK so let me go check what he want to check. He came back and said yes so I confirmed four times before I got there that being said once we were done eating, he came out with the bill and told us that they that I had to pay for my dinner and they gave me a free ice cream I said, but this is definitely wrong. They had no one there. No one goes there and I could see why the staff is horrible. The manager the little short Chinese guy or whatever he is I think he’s probably Asian I don’t wanna see Chinese because I don’t know what Asian he is and I don’t wanna come off wrong or offend anyone but however, this guy is horrible for business. The owner should fire him what he did was wrong and it was my birthday to put someone through that on their birthday is messed up. You could’ve gave me clear understanding before I sat down and ate the food. It was good. I can’t lie, but however, the service it was bad and this is why the service was bad. The owner needs to fire that guy and I’m gonna make a FTC complaint and let them know that they’re promoting something. That’s not true. I also have him recorded on tape as well. It was crazy yeah like I said, I’m gonna report them to the FTC for false advertising.

Food was amazing and Machado is very skilled. I recommend this place a lot everything is so good service and food and work ethics. Machado is a really good chef.

All in all, great evening. The service was great and the servers were nice!
We went to for a hibachi dinner.
We had to wait for an hour from the moment we were seated until the chef arrived, because they had only one chef for the entire restaurant. What??
The food was good and the chef was nice. Hibachi show was decent. Nothing to write home about. At the end, the bill was not exactly accurate and we had to ask them to not charge us for something they did. Again, all in all good experience. Probably will not come back for hibachi. Maybe for other things.

Place to avoid, sushi(their specialty) wasn’t fresh or even tasty and maybe was heated by microwave.Service was bad because the waiter knew already that he will be given automatically 18% so why doing a good service (rude , don’t listened ,forget orders)…
3% if you pay with credit card.
This place needs a new chef and new management.

This place was alright. We did table service, not hibachi. Our server must have had a different table or something because he started pretty attentive but then others handled everything until he came back with the check.

We all got tonkatsu ramen. My wife got salmon sushi rolls, I got gyoza. My wife and daughter got brown sugar boba.

The good: The gyoza and sushi were very good. Can definitely recommend that!

The ok: The ramen was not great. Not as many noodles as I have gotten at other places. The broth tasted watered down. Just not as rich. The pork belly was alright, but the toppings were lacking. The presentation lacked, so I didn't even find my egg until I ate nearly half. Just unfortunate.
The boba tea also tasted watered down. It also didn't arrive until half way through our meal. I think our server forgot to bring them, and the ice melted. I could be wrong, but that's what it tasted like.
Nothing was necessarily bad, just disappointing. There was a very loud large group in the back enjoying hibachi. So it can get very loud inside. Quiet otherwise.

Lastly, be careful ordering off menu. My wife enjoys salmon/avacado rolls and they had salmon rolls, and said doing salmon avacado was no problem. The issue is a salmon roll is $8. An Alaska roll is $9 (salmon, avacado, cucumber). They charged $22 for two salmon avacado rolls. I guess avacado is a $3/roll add on that was no explained or noted on the menu or by our server.

Oh, and they automatically add 18% gratuity to all checks.

No where in menu or signs does the restaurant tell you about a credit card service fee. Server who took our order didn’t any personally rolled his eyes while taking an. But I am a little more judgmental with service being in the business myself. No dessert choices

DONT EAT HERE, we came in ordered the most expensive thing on the menu & they screwed on us portions.. filet was small, lobster tail was small! I had to order $6 noodles and they gave you an extremely small portion of noodles.. service was horrible we got an attitude from our waiter for no reason yet I still tipped him well because it was the right thing to do. If you’re visiting or live locally DO NOT give these people your business till they stop skimping people on food and charging full price for it! Go to the bar at happy hour there is a lovely woman wed to back just to see but that’s it.. figure it out red door

I've been here a few times and had my best experience my most recent visit. Everything was fresh and good! Alexander is a solid server! I'd recommend coming here and asking for him to serve you.
