Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Perfect spot for a nice tasty treat after dinner or for a date night stroll on the beach.

My husband and I are on the search for the best soft serve custard. Today, 8/15/25 @ 7 pm after struggling to find a parking we were received by an empty store. We yelled out a few times. After 5 minutes a girl pops out and not so much as a Hello, horrible attitude and the worst face ever. I told my husband i wanted no part in the experience since she ruined it! My husband received an ice cream cone with a tilted ice cream tower holding on for dear life. He said the flavor was pretty good with a slight taste of eggs. Good customer service is on high demand.

We had the sugar free pink lemonade italian ice which tasted amazing! Not too sweet, so if you aren’t a fan of sweet I recommend that. The staff is very sweet and friendly.

Ritas is one of my favorite places to go cool down at when im at the beach, the service there is always good and an employee I hold dear to my heart, Jahriah. ALWAYS puts her best foot forward making my cookies n cream concrete. She makes it soso good !! I will say sometimes when I come in there is a lady, I think her name is Dearika ( Probably spelled wrong). She seems to have an attitude almost every time she works. She doesn’t start up conversations with costumers and I rarely see her crack a smile. I think ritas is a place where people go and leave with a smile on their face she kind of brings the mood down and makes people regret even coming inside. Overall, the desserts at ritas are always A1 and Im excited for my next visit there !

I love rita’s ! I always come there. One of my many great experiences are with the employees jahriah and lizzie they do bring such great life and customer service when I come in. You don’t usually memorize employees names but they are such fun to be around, but one of the employees derricka, on the 4th she was bringing drama into the work place and previously before that she was rude and seemed like she had an attitude.

The employee working Thursday July 3rd in the evening had a rotten attitude. A customer had a complaint and she told the customer that he should have told her the issue before he paid. She gave him his order and took his payment before he was even given a chance to taste it. She was so unprofessional.

Just went to Rita’s with my family and the experience was ruined. I ordered a mint custard and it tasted spoiled with no mint flavor whatsoever, so I went back in and asked for something else. The employee proceeded to act as if I inconvenienced her by asking “why didn’t you say something before you paid?” in a rude tone and you could tell she was annoyed having to work there. Essentially I paid almost $9 for a small twist with a waffle cone. Will not return and do not recommend.

10/10 recommend!!! The atmosphere was amazing, the Italian ice was delicious, and Lizzie’s service was unmatched!

first time at Rita’s, and the custard was FIRE! huge thanks to lizzie for helping me decide on a dessert, excellent customer service. my only complaint is having the cash only tips.

Horrible customer service. Super rude employees. Rita’s is our favorite desert but our experience here was beyond awful. Avoid this location if you can.

Rita’s for the win! The Las Olas location always gets me right! The staff is always really friendly as well. Even though the location is on the beach the service is always quick. I always get a cherry icey for me and little one after we go to the park in the beach. Get you some Rita’s!
